1)French are too costly
2)Japan is providing limited finance while we need money from all the sources we can get
3)Chinese are the cheapest and have a proven technology so no need to be sceptical and afraid

4)Lets admit it,we cannot do it ourselves and need help from where ever it comes:D

I think, it is Japanese Trains that are coming here!

I think it will be different players just like in the construction of nuclear reactors.............

Japan's bid for Indian high speed train project is three times more expensive than China's, and yet Japanese could only offer a tech of 250km/hr rail system. Indians actually deserve to have Japan...

Talk to CCP and complain about this stupid company which decided to invest in india for this project.

. . .
Hypothetically speaking, let's say this HSR will be built in India (doesn't matter if its Japanese or Chinese technology). Do you think the Indian public will take advantage of this wonderful tech? Will you guys use it?

Yes considering it will start operation in 2020's when the per capita income would have improved considerably.
Still the best results will come only in industrial corridors ehere businessmen will be more than willing to pay the money,,in other areas it won't be as successful due to steep prices.

.
India is the one begging here. :P

Like I said, if India could do it themselves, they wouldn't ask China to do it for them.

Again, this isn't a good sales pitch. Try again at that 'can you please give us your business your highness' pitch :dirol:

I think its going to be perfect , it provides citizens in your country with ease of access. Plus think of it this way, imagine the thousands of jobs it will create in the creation of the railway line. This will be perfect to boost the Indian construction business.

The company doesn't have the capital to invest, and it's all CCP's money, get it?

Some sectors on IR (Mumbai Ahemdabad, New Delhi Kanpur-Lucknow, New Delhi Bhopal, New Delhi Chandigarh, Kolkata Dhandbad, Chennai Bangalore) are one of the most saturated lines anywhere in the.
HST, by principle are put up only where traffic justifies the revenue and consequently the return on capital. Crush dense load on these sectors does justify such a huge capital expenditure.
So while such a technology will not be cheap and fares will be high, i'm sure for short duration travel, it will rival air travel and be economically viable.

Japanese tech has several decades of zero error track record. Undoubtedly if possible theirs would be preferred.

The Bombay-Ahmedabad rail corridor is one of country's busiest. I expect a lot of businesses in the region to grow, as more and more same-day return business trips are made much faster. I for sure as hell would use HSR over what I think is the slightly more inconvenient option i.e intercity flights.

This is really great to see. Imagine with the construction of new HSR lines , new opportunities will rise for communities that will host the HSR entry hubs. This can uplift many areas in India, secondarily, can lead to a boost in infrastructural developments in areas that will house HSR hubs.

Lastly, the shear fact that HSRs will have the capability of transporting people to their intended destinations in shorter time, this allows the possiblity of decrease in the 'jam packed' culture seen in current Indian railways now.
