What's new

Norwegian media bashing NS day before his visit to Norway

if you care to go through my post again you will find that some not all of pakistanis that end up being foreign nationals start bitching about pakistan
...
Well said.

I saw majority of them supporting PTI.

So PTI foreign support is really "I hate Pakistan because I am a burger" attitude.

...

I have been foruming from last 5 years. Thanks for your advice though.
5 years and 73 posts.

you need to visit here and believe you me, after sharing a strong cup of sweat milk tea (terrible taste for many Europeans), you will be posting 73 times a night. haahahah.

p.s. just kidding. you probably are "foruming" for 5 years but definitely new on PDF. Rest assured PDF has a great force to completely absorb you and that you will be unable to do anything else in your life :-)

Am pretty sure "she" is neither a female nor a Norwegian. You are an old hand here, you should be able to spot the false flaggers by now

Logically and passionately arguing Pakistan's case and dispelling the many allegations against our beloved country, with composure and civility is not appeasement.

And I don't think that talking about the 'whites' and 'tundras' are going to do much for Pakistan's sake either.
what u do my friend sorry to say is appeasement, u try to be like them or give them nordic titles, accepting from them the same 'honorable' titles or whatever while u dont even teach them abt yr own punjab and its rich culture and her unique depth etc etc......But them again i dont wanna judge u. And thats why i dont come in yr way either. U will hardly ever see me contributing in debate where the patterns are set by u or other ''softy'' members of forum (pakistani) Yes thats the impression i have for u.

But i as being from mountains and we live in harsh conditions are not 'soft' in our nature. We are aggressive nature people like pathans, and im no exception. Havnt u already seen me how i engage with indians, iranis and others in forum? We believe in making other pay for what they do, We believe in ''Eent a Jawab Pathar'' theory.

White thingy in my post was abt their attitude which is common in their white race. U might wanna read my post again, if u dint got the point.

Tundra is a region where they live in North pole. Standards of life are miserable there. Most of them live in igloo. Its just that we are lucky to be born in a Country which enjoys all the 4 seasons. They cant even do agriculture there and thats why they have those research facilities these for agriculture so they would find a way to grow something in tundra.

And if i talk abt crime and rapes there then that will put Pakistan into shame that this author the thread talks abt and tries to D-grade our country on. Mismanagement or corruption is high in Scandinavia as well.

These people even dont have a proper culture to compare, all what they call a culture is a tall semi naked man with a large funny beard and an ax in his hand who lives in a funny place and kills one another and drinks and has sex in night is Nordic Culture.....

So dont give that decency crap tome as i dont buy in what defensive doctrines or strategies. Since they are immune to it because they only chose to believe that they wish to believe in.

I would rather suggest u the same that flush that rubbish down the toilet and become a real man and act like that, let go that cowardly thinking.

The way you are trying to portray yourself or your nation is not meaningful at all (at least for me). History books are still available and I have gone through it. What you (Sorry Persians or Turks not converted ones) did in South Asia is known to all. Norway may be a small country but far far better than any country in South Asia. Leave that fucking wheat there are hundred of thousand people who come here to grow it ofr us. Hope you get it now.

Living on aid is not an achievement at all. Language of sword, I am so scared. I don't want to humiliate you but we know all about your sovereignity and about all things you are boasting here. Go back to your cave and dream about your super duper country.
.
LOL yr perverted history what they teach u abt Islam and us. We are the ones kid who have civilized even yr white kind! Ever heard of Cordoba or Baghdad or the Abbasides, im saying this because im Abbasi myself. And what have we dont in south asia something beyond yr small white minds can even grasp. We made this country a ''Golden Sparrow'' there was a reason why british and other colonial powers were attracted to this region. Here educate yrself and the so called historical books u have gone through.

U dont even allow Hitler's biography in yr europe to study while majority of yr EU believes europe was liberated by allied forces. Such is the level of perversion of history in the regions where u live. And yr trying to compare yrself with us. Like i said u chose to believe that u wish to. Not only that but try to shove yr inferior laws to others who dont even like them.

Yes yr a small rather tiny nation even the population of Karachi is close to 20 million and Karachi is a city in my country and yr trying to say that yr by far far far better then any South Asian country.:omghaha: Is that some joke of the year or something. U live in one of the most miserable conditions in the world! Most of yr country as an area where even sun doesnt set most of the time in an year and when it does it doesnt rise rest of the year! On the other hand abt 40% of the country is barren tundra or in other words useless for human settlement and growth. Temperatures get so low that lot of people die due to frost bite every year so and so forth.

Agriculture is and has always remained the basic way of human life to feed themselves, even u dont have them because of such miserable conditions. Even now u have some research centers for agriculture in hope u can find a way to do cultivation in yr useless lands. And please stop living in delusions nobody wants to come to y country trust me that is more then true. I think its time u might wanna come out of yr igloo and see the world around u a bit.

And kid the things yr boasting abt sovereignty etc. That is there because we ARE an important country which have importance in global matters and atleast has a strategic significance! Its not like Norway or Scandinavia nations whom people even dont consider important even in their EU.

Living on aide? kid do u even know what GDP of Pakistan is? Do u really think a country which is the 3 rd largest exporter of cotton, 4th or 5th largest exporter of wheat etc etc relies on AIDE? The AIDE that is given is in very limited numbers by certain countries who hope that through this they might be able to control the country they want some sort of hold on us for their tactical use in their Asia pivot strategy. U dont seriously think that 8th largest country in the world is surviving on AIDE are u for the past 67 years.

And then u say u dont wanna humiliate me:omghaha::omghaha::omghaha: As if im just at the mercy of u. Kid u and yr tundra or its laws, principles or values dont have what it takes to humiliate us, Pakistanis!!!!

In order to boast something u need to have something on yr own!!!

And u even dont have a grain of wheat. The only person why is humiliating itself and its tundra is u. My country may not be a super power as of today but she was all that it takes to be one or atleast close to that elite club. But what u have? Technology? That too shared American and EUs.

.
was that before they found out he is not a Muslim or after?

That's a very simplistic interpretation of the developments. We study such stark judgments academically and try to understand the culture of the target country in better ways through the local discourse so I can say a few things or two.

In case you had followed the media discussions, not many people even in the immediate aftermath wanted life sentence for him and those people on TV were real genuine ones and not the aggressive and often hypo-critic ones who frequent on anonymous defense forums.

One possible way to dissect the discourse and social values is hofstede's 6D theory.

Without sounding too theoretical, do you know what's the most coveted award given to school kids there in scandinavian countries ? Award of "the most nice girl" are more revered and valued rather than "tech whizkid" or " Golden Boy/girl" awards dished out in say countries like pak/india/south asia for academic brilliance.

The priorities there are entirely different. They don't believe in inserting proverbial rod up a criminal's a$$.

In 2010' Sweden completed 100 years without executions. In Finland the last person to be executed in peacetime was in 1825. Yes Believe THAT ! Case is similar in Norway as well.

Of,course this shouldn't be construed as weakness. Because they are backing up their values with consistent rulings and laws and regulations to solidy who they are.

Their priorities are completely different.

Scandinavian countries are among a very few nations that have learned that mass executions never solved any crime in history. In traditional Muslim societies, criminals have been executed for the past 1400 years, yet the crime rate is nowhere as good as we have here in Nordic countries. So let @Horus @Zarvan @TankMan and co. criticize Breivik's playstations. If he was executed, it would have given birth to 100 more lone wolves like him in revenge. All psychiatrists and psychologists who examined him, labeled him mentally insane. By executing an insane person, would make other sane radicals insane as well, and give impetus to commit more acts of terror. Remember Breivik didn't target Muslims which he feared or hated the most. In fact he targeted his own ethnic Norwegians whom he believed were traitors of their nation by promoting cultural diversity and multiculturalism.

Norway is LIGHT YEARS ahead of Pakistan in EVERYTHING - particularly TOLERANCE, Societal harmony, etc.
It's at least many thousand light years ahead of MQM. :D

Lmao! As a Pakistani, it pains and amuses me at the same time to see the level of stupid patriotism exhibited by fellow Pakistanis here. Saying 'oh Norway shouldn't say anything about Nawaz Sharif cuz they have Breivil'.. really, that's your response? Norway may have ONE Breivik, Pakistan has thousands like him who would kill fellow Pakistanis for merely holding different views and beliefs than their own.
Funny how these pseudo-nationalists get angry when a foreigner criticize their country's leaders, when they had no problem bashing Norwegian government for awarding Nobel peace prize to Malala, a Pakistani. Clearly, they do not understand that Nobel Peace Committee is financially and politically an independent institution.

Prime Minister is doing his share of work. He looks after the soft pronge dimension of the conflict and he is doing a stellar job compared to Zardari.
Nawaz is doing better than Zardari because he has got a more 'tajabarkar' team of crooks.

Soft Prong? By becoming subservient to the army? or simply abdicating governance, foreign policy, other responsibilities of an elected democratic government to let the army run the show.. yeah! he's doing a stellar job at showing democratic forces how NOT to run a country.
MQM and PPP are the only two parties that are getting sleepless nights since PakRangers started their operations against 'criminal' elements in both parties.

This is in addition to them being extremely hard working.
:o: Where did you get that? Norwegians used to be hardworking, but then we got the oil and became as lazy as oil sheikhs, slightly better.

Though Norway can't play cricket even if their life depended on it !
Can Pakistanis do skiing like every Norwegian kid that is born with ski?

Norway is lot lot lot lot lot more homogeneous country compared to Pakistan.
Yes, but it's not the only reason why this country is a success in every way possible.

We are the ones who have ruled this south asia for abt 1000 years and yr talking abt some tundra countries of Scandinavia who even dont have much significance even in their own EU as the countries like Germany, France and UK have......There is almost no grain of wheat grows in yr lands to begin with. And yr gonna eat the technology......
Baloney. Norway is a major contributor of oil, gas and other energy related products. There are rumors that Pakistan is buying solar power from norwegians.
We are energy independent while you guys are still stuck with 20 hours of daily loadshedding. You can't eat technology but you also can't live without it in a modern age. :sarcastic:

Yr western principles are no example nor impress us to follow! Get that thing straight in yr head! And stop shoving them down in other throats!
We don't want you third worlders to follow Western principles or even use Western technology. You should be using candles at night, hand fans during the heat and camels as a transport. Please don't follow the EVIL West, thank you! :enjoy:

And Malala fans bash me when I say she is a poster kid not worth the praises she gets :(
Of course, a poster kid with a Nobel Peace prize in her name. Something millions of Pakistanis should get ashamed of in a country world renowned for being an expert in terrorism! :sarcastic:

Technology or something wont feed u,
Try to live without Western technology such as electricity for a week or two and then call me back.

Went to Norway twice courtesy of a certain telecom company, it's bloody expensive but the people are nice. Oh and one cool fact about the country is that it had contact less payment back in 2008
You worked for Telenor? We have had cashless payments since early 2000's. Today we can even pay wirelessly through our debit and credit cards. :enjoy:

Life is getting really hard in Pakistan , majority of youngster dont have get basic of life so they end of being wrong side of society and try what ever thing possible to do feed their family , which is our mistake Pakistan was created for the betterment of Muslims and humans instead , we forget the reason why our forefathers gave so many scarifies .
Pakistan's was created because Indian Muslims or atleast those who voted for the Pakistan movement refused to coexist peacefully with the Hindu Majority of India. What they found out 68 years later that they can't even coexist with themselves

If someone insults my country or whatever be it male or female i dont give two hoots abt that as they themselves believe in some rule that men and women are equal. They will face my wrath with out discrimination.
Come on. Bring it on :P

When we compare "homogenous" and "peaceful" nature of a country, we must appreciate its size and ratio of ethnicities.
Not always. Iran has quite a large numbers of ethnicities, yet is relatively stable. Same for Israel.

Believe me this seem to be work of potis living in Norway, lots of them there.
Yeah. We have many POTIS in Norway. You have a problem. It seems a generally educated population tends to vote more for PTI. Uneducated ones vote for every other party.

lol yr gas and oil wont feed u. son, try growing a grain of wheat first then talk or eat gas or oil or even electricity. Or just eat snow of yr igloo. If u actually r significant then play important roles in yr EU first then talk as like Germans, English or French do.

Its a bloody useless country.

Yes we dont use yr non practical principles nor r we interested.

LOL Lord Macaulay's speech hasnt been refuted at all. The source is a cutting from the English news paper of the time called Industrial bulletin. I have read yr source it doesnt proves it wrong, it tries to convince the readers its fake.

BTW he is not the only source which gives testimony of that a recent report abt economic history has termed India contributing abt 23% of global economy of the times of emperor Aurangzeb. Has yr Norway ever done that through its oil and gas.

Also read a book by a british bureaucrat who served in Colonial period called Our Indian Muslims by WW Hunter. Yr european version of perverted history wont be acceptable here son. Because this is the REAL WORLD! not yr world of igloos.

Get some knowledge then come back.

You are Running your mouth for quite some time , The only thing You keep coming back to back and now growing anything My friend you need to read about norway just a small article to stop your nonsense o hope it shuts your mouth against all the point you raisen in your post

IT HAS become standard for countries which discover large deposits of oil or gas to declare that they will copy Norway. A president will announce the creation of a fund to park revenues from hydrocarbons. Grand plans are drawn up for spending the bounty on improving the lot of mankind. But being Norway is much harder than it sounds. Only one country seems to have the necessary mixture of wealth, generosity, internationalism, optimism and modesty required to pull it off.

Norway is the biggest contributor to conflict resolution, the optimistic name given to efforts to get warring parties to talk to each other. A high point here came in 1993, when Norwegian diplomats and researchers cajoled Israelis and Palestinians to negotiate face to face. The resulting Oslo accords were signed in Washington by politicians from America, Russia, Israel and Palestine. Norway was more than happy for them to take the credit for its initiative.

Since then Norway has sought to involve itself in many other conflicts—the less tractable the better. It has tried to repeat its Arab-Israeli success (as it seemed at the time) in Colombia, Haiti, Cyprus, the Philippines, Burma, Indonesia and, most recently, Sri Lanka. This last has been criticised as naive, leading as it did to a ceasefire that allowed the combatants to rearm before the killing resumed. Yet a consistent principle runs through these efforts: that it is better to sit down with all parties, even those considered pariahs, than to exclude anyone from peace talks.
Norway is a generous funder of a huge number of good causes. It has, for instance, given more to alleviate hunger in the Horn of Africa this year than France or Germany. It has set up a mechanism to pay Brazil not to chop down the Amazon. And it shovels money into the United Nations.

This makes Norway sound like a place that models its foreign policy on the banners held up at Woodstock, but that is not the case. It is a member of NATO and is playing an outsized role in the campaign in Libya. It has repeatedly shown a willingness to put its soldiers in harm's way. The foreign ministry estimates that 120,000 Norwegians served as peacekeepers between 1947 and 2008, and Norwegians wearing the UN's blue berets can today be found in Sudan, Congo and Afghanistan.

INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION
Norway has been a member of the United Nations since 27 November 1945; the country participates in the ECE and several nonregional specialized agencies, such as the FAO, IAEA, the World Bank, UNSECO, UNHCR, UNIDO, and the WHO. Norwegian experts serve in many countries under the UN Technical Assistance program. Norway has participated in at least 30 UN peacekeeping operations. The Norwegian Peace Corps, launched as an experiment in 1963, was made a permanent part of Norway's program of international aid in 1965.

Norway is a member of the WTO, the African Development Bank, the Asian Development Bank, the Council of the Baltic Sea States, the Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council, the Inter-American Development Bank, the Council of Europe, EFTA, the OSCE, the Paris Club, NATO, the Nordic Council, the Nordic Investment Bank, and OECD. The country holds observer status in the OAS and is an associate member of the Western European Union. A referendum on EU membership was held in November 1994; 52% of the electorate voted against membership.

Norway is part of the Australia Group, the Zangger Committee, the Nuclear Suppliers Group (London Group), the Nuclear Energy Agency, the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN), and the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons. In environmental cooperation, Norway is part of the Antarctic Treaty, the Basel Convention, the Convention on Biological Diversity, Ramsar, CITES, the London Convention, International Tropical Timber Agreements, the Kyoto Protocol, the Montréal Protocol, MARPOL, the Nuclear Test Ban Treaty, and the UN Conventions on the Law of the Sea, Climate Change and Desertification.

and still u cant grow a single grain of wheat.. Oil gas or fresh water ponds will be depleted one day, what next then?

Reason why i say this is because its the basic human need ie food. If the agriculture countries sanction u then that oil and gas isnt gonna stop u from starvation. U need concrete and important resources like agriculture of multi pal food items. Yr way of extracting oil, technology, Montreal Protocol, MARPOL, biological diversity,Libya thingy, or any other tom dick and harry isnt gonna save u from certain death from hunger.

But the fertile lands of my country dont deplete either.

Yr country is still not significant even within EU even when it recently became the largest gas supplier to fellow EU countries replacing Russia.

Critics from Scandinavian countries do sound condescending. Thats why India, Pakistan and many other countries ganged up to defeat Sweden in 2012..

Having said that, what they have achieved is truly admirable. Was an eye opener for me when I fist visited Sweden. We South Asians will have to slog really hard for really long to even think of getting the kind of system they have. And frankly most of their criticisms come due to their inability to understand that how can so many things are so rotten in our part of world for so long. Most of the criticism is genuine and we would do good to learn from it.

Political affiliation should not come into play when a PM of your country is on an official tour visiting/representing your country, insulting/bashing a visiting PM in actually bashing your country, the problem with us all regardless of which Eva political outfit one belongs to is that we like to use any opportunity for point scoring..
