It is an unfortunate truth that we Pakistanis haven't been able to convince many others from far off lands that Pakistanis are not an intolerant bunch of psychopaths as we are portrayed to be in the media and that terrorism, extremism and fanaticism of any kind in Pakistan and Pakistani society is an aberration and a scourge that we are suffering - It does not define us...it never has and it never will !

You don't go on dishing dirt at another's country to simply prove a point. I'm sure if @Emilly David were to ever visit Pakistan she'd know that the reality is far......far......far different than our perception in the rest of the world. I've personally known many foreigners who've visited Pakistan with preconceived notions of our country and our people only to be washed away by our hospitality, love and inclusiveness !

If she, like so many other's, has a negative image of Pakistan - The fault is entirely our own ! And we must solve that.

Oh please stop playing that decency crap with me. That strategy is not working, these people chose to believe what they wish to so treat them as such.

If someone insults my country or whatever be it male or female i dont give two hoots abt that as they themselves believe in some rule that men and women are equal. They will face my wrath with out discrimination.

So why should i care abt what a person living in tundra regions of Scandinavia thinks. These countries r not even significant in their own europe, or have sleepless nights because they hate my country or have a negative prospective abt it. While these people dont stop at that but try to shove their principles as if they are 'superior' down the throats of others........ Not even a single grain of wheat is grown in those lands and look at their attitude as if the have ruled the world for abt thousand years like us.

So if u believe that yr strategy of appeasement is working then stick with it if not then change it. Thats all i can say to u, i mean thats being real.

Norway is not that tiny , its almost half of size of Pakistan , bigger than UK in area , One of the most richest country in the world , one of the most developed countries , Since Pakistan makes most money from agriculture , Worlds most modern agriculture research facilities are in norway , one of the most developed industry . list goes on and on

Discussion went way beyond what was intended.

When we compare "homogenous" and "peaceful" nature of a country, we must appreciate its size and ratio of ethnicities.

That's all.

For example, when we are dealing with Afghanistan, we should look at its area for sure.

But in terms of human capital, we should also realize that the whole Afghanistan is similar in "size" of Karachi (population wise).

Logically and passionately arguing Pakistan's case and dispelling the many allegations against our beloved country, with composure and civility is not appeasement.

And I don't think that talking about the 'whites' and 'tundras' are going to do much for Pakistan's sake either.

One instructor from Australia loved it here so much he said and I quote " I wish you guys would allow leave to remain" and there was another Irish lady who taught at a missionary school she had a Pakistani driving license, spoke and wrote Urdu and only left after her husband and her were transferred by their church to Nigeria.
