I was trying to hold back not say much to the air chief about this matter. But the bottom line is that is his fault. Base security if his responsibility first and foremost---.

If his order does not have the strength to maintain and manage base security---he must be charged with dereliction of duty and terminated.

I heard two hypotheses on OBL incident

1) OBL incident never took place and the entire story was concocted

2) It was joint operation by US & Pakistan but Pakistan claimed ignorance to avoid public wrath

My negative rating pertains to the idiocy of your idea of hanging the principal of the school/ college where children died. Are you aware of specific fact finding reports about these incidents. You have presumed people to be guilty till proven innocent. This is the idiocy that I refer to. No doubt the loss of P3Cs and AWAC was a sad event and if complicitness or laxity was found it would have been punished. There are a lot of things that are reported but action is not taken. Air bases are huge and perimeter walls are a big undertaking. How many times do you think would this have been pointed out and ignored by the Government. Yet you exercise your right to wag your tongue without any understanding of the task ahead of the afmed forces. For instance the defence of the base is a specialised task nèeding specialised training but guards are put on duty after rudimentary preparation. The AF guys are not trained to efend the air base but the government has repeatedly ignored the need for a specified force. So in short this is idiocy.
As to me being hurt I stopped being hurt a long time ago. You reference to East Pakistan,Kashmir and Siachin reflects your agitated unreasonable mind which talks first without reading about the events. So readup first and then talk.

Show me a report where blame can be assigned without any doubt and I will be the first one to say yes. But just because it is hunting season and you dont see any game it is not fair to shoot your neighbour or his dog for the heck of it. This is the same mentality that has beset this forum. That's not idiocy but you think like that and you have right to say whatever you want. If we used to bring these phrasal words for any politician why not for army? These are people used to worship army but i count them just like other ministries. No emotional affiliation just like no affiliation with current politicians. They are all same to me, many work in favour of Pakistan and many to sell it.

Duties are duties applied same on politicians and military man under their constitutional designation.
Ok, ACM is innocent until proven guilty, i didn't observe or any report over the conduct of court marshal or equivalent steps taken against the responsible of security breach of the base of any strategic installation. But my words are losing their credibility when i am looking at political and military system not to punish their "Hum Piyalas" not important how many casualties, lose of assets has been occurred.

We are living in 21st centuray not in 19th, every educated person now has idea and information what tasked are in front of Armed forces but that couldn't be excuse to hide loop holes within duties.

That's not government task to form specialized force for the defense of Air bases, this is the responsibility of JCOSC & ACM to plan-finance-execution. There is no special budget is needed when it could be summed in fiscal budget requirement of Ministry of defense. Just like SPD raised special force to defend strategic assets. And i don't think that at any time state refused any military demand.

So lets be more fair to discussion then military phobic jingoism toward criticizer.
I have no intentions to hurt you again but fair play shouldn't be discouraged.

To be fair to the Chief, the battle is half lost when 14 heavily trained and armed suicide fighters walk up to the base. They ARE going to do damage. Its a given.

Of course everyone understands its just a morale boosting statement, but that's part of job too.
