FYI, all opposition parties were against the SBP autonomy bill (PML N being most vocal in its opposition). I have no love lost for the opposition or the PTI. My concern is my country and partisans of both these parties would rather have the country burn down and convert to ashes if it comes under the control of their opposition.

Current govt itself going to harm motherland so rather than trying to stop you are saying dont harm the govt making you harming the motherland because out of 34 cabinet member, 24 are on bail and corrupt. Even pm is on bail of billion rupees.


Second I will not buy xyz reason that this govt is increasing price and not going to have money in their pockets. So yeah whatever it cost for this govt to go. PTI performance was doing better and they had policy.

I have had the distinct "pleasure" of attending (observing) a session (US/PAK) with Miftah Ismail chairing it. Let me just say "God help us".
The level of lack of preparedness, the level of groveling, the level of knowledge, the level of negotiation tactics & skills. Even a US Highschooler on the debate team would have presented a better case for Pakistan.

Adjustment was late and Shaukat Tarin was in tussel with Reza Baqir on interest rate. He did not wanted interest rate to go beyond 7%. If they had adjusted in Sep 2021 according to market and Pakistan requirement than PTI would have been in government easily.

The point is that how does this compare against PML-N which did jack all.

Every PMLN era started with higest inflation due to increase taxation and creating fiscal space for massive spending(& hence skimming)
