Not even 1 figures of Shaukat Tarin budget proved right yes not even 1 budget figures prediction was right that why WB, IMF and ADB did not wanted to deal with PTI because they botch the contract with IMF 3 times.

Reality is the only way to control dollar is to be surplus in exports..and that would take a decade

Pakistanis destroyed the economy from 2008-2018 by decreasing the exports by 25%(rathee then required tripling it) and now suddenly expect hamoon jadogar and ayank wala jin to come and triple the exports in 3 yrs(increased by 50% on pace to become 4x in 10yrs)

Everyone knew oil is 100$ in market and everybody knew that pakistan has cheapest oil
Everybody knew Pdm cant do shit unless USA GIVES THEM CSF fund back (3b$ per year of FREE FOREIGN EXCHANGE) sane people knew thats not happening

Hence why not a single ptwari thought that any relief will happen

They voted however for import liberalization..this will generate alot of jobs (though will kill reserves) and in some areas will decrease inflation if rupee is subsidized with it but that aint happening estb wont allow it

No. Accepting IMF terms is evil like incompetent PMLN used to claim.

Fix the high inflation, give relief to the people, bring dollar back to 110, give high growth, cut petroleum, electricity and gas prices and reverse the SBP autonomy. Public wants relief, they don’t care about IMF negotiations.

FYI, all opposition parties were against the SBP autonomy bill (PML N being most vocal in its opposition). I have no love lost for the opposition or the PTI. My concern is my country and partisans of both these parties would rather have the country burn down and convert to ashes if it comes under the control of their opposition.

So, you believe that the "package" of subsidies IK announced while knowing his govt's days were numbered was in the national interest? He did the exact same thing (breaking the bank/throwing a spanner in fiscal discipline) that he accused his opposition of doing in their respective stints in power when the election season neared.

With crude prices in excess of 100 USD a barrel, subsidizing it is simply not possible. Loadshedding is again due to the circular debt that's building up in the power sector with no solution/endgame in sight. PTI could not fix it. PML N had a huge role in the troubles on this front due to "take or pay" agreements, as well, while all rot could be traced back to the IPPs policy of 1996 under PPP. Inflation remains as much of a global phenomenon as it is today as it was under PTI a month ago. Do not let go of your objectivity just because the govt you supported is changed now.
