Nippon Kaigi: The ultra-nationalistic group trying to restore the might of the Japanese Empire

One thing you Viet really need to know is...China is the most powerful nation in this SCS conflict, but Vietnam is the most aggressive one.

How many island Vietnam occupied? How large the SCS area Vietnam
This Viet boy is trying to derail the thread. Don't let him.
You are wrong. We haven't built any artificial islands. Not yet. Having military capacity doesn't mean we are aggressive. No we don't claim 90 percent only our EEZ. But we are off topic.

I didn't mention anything about Viet island construction as this would be diverting the topic. Stop trolling.

Today Chinese nationalists pose a more dangerous threat to peace than Japan Kaiji. Chinese love telling the world how bad Japan was 70 years ago to hide their aggression today. nobody outside China buy this scrap.

Its not about how bad Japan was 70 years ago, but rather many of the current generation of Japanese politician held the belief that Japan was unjustly punished for its colonial expansion after WWII. And that they are looking for revision and vindication. And that's where Nihon Kaigi comes in. It's all too similar to Germany after WWI.

even if you say is true is who cares?
Japan population declines by 500,000 people a year. that is about the size of a medium city in Germany. the Japanese have more fear before Chinese and vice versa. obviously either you have inferior complex, or in reality you just hype up Japan threat to advance your own agenda.

Yes, a Viet would not care much about an expansionist Japan as its still far away, the only time Japan actually occupied Vietnam was after the fall of Korea and China. But China must remain vigilant for it have seen periodic raids and invasion over a thousand years of interaction with Japan.

I don't think you understand the dangers of fascism. Chinese nationalists are inherently defensive; if Vietnam no longer poses a threat to Chinese territorial integrity, nobody will care about Vietnam. Japanese starved 3 million Vietnamese civilians to death in a war of aggression. That is a genocide. China has done nothing to Vietnam.

It comes frrom where you look at. Today you pose a serious threat to Japan than vice versa. You should take it as compliment. You have come a long way. Congrat. As for your remark about Vietnam posing a security threat to China, no worry, the last time we invaded China happening during the Song and Ming. Other attempts were more or less incursions. And more importantly we never have intention to enslave chinese. Unlike the japanese.

Not true about the victim number during the famine in Vietnam you quoted. Many sources said between 0.5 and 1 million. But true, credit to japanese aggression.

With half of the country's parliamentarians, the pacifist constitution will sooner or later be scrapped.

Japan's rise in early 20th century depended on its neighbour's weakness, such as the internal turmoils in China and Russia. Basically, the only way for a small nation to rise is for its large neighbours to screw up themselves.

We pose an operational threat to Japan (the same way the US poses an operational threat to Japan) but we do not have the motive (just as the US doesn't have the motive). It is up to Japan to not provoke us into getting a motive. But when Japan is literally announcing that they will attack us, and that they're going to have a huge military buildup to do so, what do you think is going to be the reaction of any sane person?

you can´t deny with your military build-up, claims and actions on the ground in the region threatening regional stability and status-quo. it is understandable Japan needs a military response. I haven´t heard Japan wants to attack you. why should they? time has changed. so the shift of balance of power.
