Nippon Kaigi: The ultra-nationalistic group trying to restore the might of the Japanese Empire

you can´t deny with your military build-up, claims and actions on the ground in the region threatening regional stability and status-quo. it is understandable Japan needs a military response. I haven´t heard Japan wants to attack you. why should they? time has changed. so the shift of balance of power.

there is no military buildup in China. there is only military catch up. the only use of Chinese military forces is for securing borders and defeating fascism.

you have humour. what is the difference? and catching up with whom?
the only use of Chinese military forces is for securing borders and defeating fascism.
where are your borders you want to defend?
if you mean japanese fascism, it no longer exists by and large. but I see chinese hubris arises replacing japanese fascism. you may not see it but your neighbors. as I said it depends upon from where you look at.

catching up with the international leading edge of technology of course.

also, fascism is well and alive.

Nihonjin1051, we all see that you do many things here to improve image of Japan, but if you really hope Japan have a good future, I strongly advise you that try to do something to change Japan itself, only in that way can prevent Japan from sliding into the abyss again.

Hello @clibra ,

Thanks for your appraisal, i really appreciate it. Given since we are communicating in an international forum with various introspective as well as extraspective visions, it is common to have conflicting views on strategic issues. And that is totally fine given the interests of China is globally-encompassing; as it is with Japan. Japan , as a pre-eminent economic power with multi-trillion dollar trade ties throughout Europe, Americas, Asia, Oceania, Africa and the Greater Middle East --- has to ensure an omnidirectionalist position in safeguarding our multidimensional, multipraxial , inter-commisurability with our partner government(s) and various international organizations e.g, NATO, ASEAN, APEC, UN, et al.

Japan is not a country that acts with duplicity, nay, Japan as a responsible great power, and one that has been centered on the rule of law, centrifugal to which has been the paradigm of reassessment processes on current political policies. This has ben the mainstay , the basis on which Japan has delivered development aid and development processes on partner state(s). This issue of alignment in context to regional and supra-regional commiseration has been the catalyst of entente between governments after thawing of relations of various governments after the Communist thread and political scare had been relatively mitigated --- through , of course, mature diplomatic rapport.

Japan, is a responsible power. She is a democratic, parliamentarian, representative democracy that enshrines the Imperial grace of the Emperor , who Himself has encouraged through Imperial Auspice and Imperial tutelage through the Imperial Privy Councelorships -- to adopt and maintain the culture between governmental sectors that continues to endorse acceptance, communication, empathy, and most of all transparency and various good governance , self-appraisal mechanisms. Which have been the drivers of efficiency that nominally depicts and manifests Japanese political economy.

We must totally reiterate this culture of intercommisurability, the culture of internationalism, the culture of self awareness and self correctability, the culture of intragenerational communication processes that is alive in Japan. That is the very reason Japan will continue to be the pillars and drivers of regional and supra-regional peace and stability.

Its been a pleasure to engage with you. Thank you for your kind and reassuring post.

Kindly I Remain a fellow colleague,

War , conflict will always be a foregone conclusion. Albeit the fact that it is an interest for military planners, for contingency reasons, of course, however, the general political mechanisms in both Japan and China known the inexplicable links between China and Japan. Both economically, politically, and on the cultural people to people aspect. On a legal perspective, the presence of nationalist groups are normal within Japan and China, respectively. Their existence is guaranteed by constitutional edict; i think we should also realize and understand that the nationalist paradigm serves a purpose in regards to bolstering and catalyzing Sino-Japanese political economy. Its quite similar to how the SUPERPAC in the United States plays to the republican-democratic sentiments in the American population, stirring the basis for national debate on key national issues.

Reminding all my Chinese friends here to remain realistic, pragmatic, and open minded. Don't be too readily influenced by radical , emotional-driven posts by some of our friends here.

Kind regards,

Just protect ourselves & China as possible as we can.

Yes, I know the Chinese national character. The Chinese people are a business-minded folk, for peace, and generally are benign never aggressive. IN your history, the Chinese never were expansionists, rather, were victims of foreign invasions. My country and my ancestors were guilty of aggression towards China, there is no denial about it. But we live in different times. The firepower of both China and Japan guarantee that in case of war, there would be imminent destruction for both our nations, our peoples, and for our Great East Asia Region.

Nationalism is fine, to a point it is healthy. But we must , as a people and as a region remain open minded, realistic, and progressive-thinking.

I want to visit Xi'an, to try the famous ice cream dessert in Jiangzhu. I won't be able to taste the flavors if China and Japan have war. Yes? For the sake of ice cream, let's stay 'cool'. ha ha ha. ;)

guess who hit us more ?

My friend, there is no excuse for Japanese Imperialist designs in China, but you have to be broad minded, as well. Meiji Japan was a product of the times that Japan was in; and that was the age of Imperialism, specifically European Imperialism. It was reality back then.

The firepower guarantees that China will de-Nazify Japan completely if Japanese fascists provoke a new war. Even the Nazis were disgusted by the behavior of Japan, and the Nazis were so brutal that Allied soldiers liberating the concentration camps vomitted at the sight of "cruelties so brutal, they are incomprehensible to the normal mind".

There are no fascists in Japan. There are , however, communists. Yes we tolerate them. :)

Japan is a civilized society.

Well Japan , and its politics are hard to understand , as they are pacifist but have big guns
