Nippon Kaigi: The ultra-nationalistic group trying to restore the might of the Japanese Empire

Said very well, @Nihonjin1051 ... but i think ur idea still not the mainstream ideology in today Japan society, the China just a target for Japan at least in Abe's Japan it is.
View attachment 278578

Abe is a true and pure Japanese Patriot. He believes in a truly independent and powerful Japan. He believes in a Great Japan. As do I. I think there is nothing wrong in this. You as a Chinese want a powerful and Great China. As a Japanese I want the same for my own country.

We will use whatever means to realize this. Remember that in time even the great mountain will be covered in moss.

;)

Well Japan , and its politics are hard to understand , as they are pacifist but have big guns

There is only one country that can come close in 'trying' to understand Japanese politics and national psyche; the Chinese.

:)

There are no fascists in Japan. There are , however, communists. Yes we tolerate them. :)

Shinzo Abe's grandfather was a minister in Tojo's cabinet. There is little distinguishing the current LDP from the Nazi Party. There is little distinguishing the Uyoku Dantai from the Waffen SS.

Actually i have to correct you. His grandfather, Nobusuke Kishi, was appointed as the Industrial Planner for Manchukoku (Manchuria) by the democratically elected PM Okuda 岡田 啓介. When Tojo seized power by military uprising, Kishi was placed on military house arrest. He was a vocal opponent of the military's dictatorship; even given death threats to stay silent.

Uyoku Dantai from the Waffen SS.

LOL! But no one really listens to the Uyoku Dantai. Given, I may agree with them on some little points here and there , but overall, their tone, their way of delivering their ideology is just so .... simplistic. Screaming at the top of one's lungs on a black van with flags everywhere? That's just so .... parvenu. LOL.

:lol::lol:

I simply don't get it. Japan has an "inglorious military past". Why they trying to relive those inglorious days?

We think it's an inglorious military past, but Japanese don't think it was inglorious. They just admit it was a failure past. Travel to their smelly shrine, from where you will get your answer.

It was a Glorious Military History. Perhaps the direction of the War did not go according to plan , the abuses and collateral damage incurred in battle areas was most unfortunate (and it grieves our hearts to hear of the suffering it caused), nevertheless, we do not think lower of our honored dead who laid down their lives for the Imperial Will. They shall be honored and revered for all age , and sacrifice shall be remembered by all Japanese.

My Kuomintang supporting friend, I think your leaders were not guiltless of systematic violence. It was good that your lot were defeated by the CCP.

Yes, I know the Chinese national character. The Chinese people are a business-minded folk, for peace, and generally are benign never aggressive. IN your history, the Chinese never were expansionists, rather, were victims of foreign invasions. My country and my ancestors were guilty of aggression towards China, there is no denial about it. But we live in different times. The firepower of both China and Japan guarantee that in case of war, there would be imminent destruction for both our nations, our peoples, and for our Great East Asia Region.

Nationalism is fine, to a point it is healthy. But we must , as a people and as a region remain open minded, realistic, and progressive-thinking.

I want to visit Xi'an, to try the famous ice cream dessert in Jiangzhu. I won't be able to taste the flavors if China and Japan have war. Yes? For the sake of ice cream, let's stay 'cool'. ha ha ha. ;)

My friend, there is no excuse for Japanese Imperialist designs in China, but you have to be broad minded, as well. Meiji Japan was a product of the times that Japan was in; and that was the age of Imperialism, specifically European Imperialism. It was reality back then.
Today..

I hope more Japanese will be like 三笠宮崇仁親王殿下 :(

Japanese right wing indeed hurt ordinary Chinese by saying this miserable event is illusive, specially if the Chinese has watched relevant books/videos.

There is no such thing in the world as love or hate without cause or reason.

Yes, I hope so too. Pro peace, pro calm headed, pro learning of each other, pro open mind is always better in context to Sino-Japanese dynamic.

Do not worry, my dear. Extreme Right Wing are a fringe movement and a totally ostracized minority.

That is one of Japan's weaknesses. Japan does not have good planning skills. Their declining birth rate is testimony of that, failure of social planning for years/decades ahead. Which still bothers me. Why this nationalistic group try to relive the past where they failed and made bad planning decisions? Where was the glory in this?

How can Japan be the leader of asia when their economy is shrinking and many more Japanese companies go bankrupt plus serious aging population problem.

Japan looks like an irrelevant country now in Asia.

china is afraid of Japan. Not long ago china was ruled by Japan

Not really weakness, during the lead up to 1980s, Japan's birth rate was relatively high and that spurred government to try to pass policies and tax schema in an effort to reduce population growth trend. Given at that time Japan's population was climbing over 120 million. I would say that in the past 30 some years, the fact that Japan's population has plateaued and even starting decreasing is testament to the success of the national planning systems.

Our ability to implement new policies to raise population would be successful, given our background in our ability to lower population trend starting in the lead up to the 1980s.

I think that the goal should be to maintain the population to within the 110-120 million range.

Hold on a second. You're losing me here. If Japan's declining birth rate is a result of successful social planning, why they thinking of bringing in more immigrants now to fill that gaping hole?

The same way as why China's CPC is now changing their own 1 child policy; our family planning system(s) were too effective, lol.

That is one way to put it, my friend...
