There are some resolution for me (they are in no particular order) ;

• Short term : I seriously need to find a way to circumvent Windows 10 UEFI restriction that doesn't involve removing this laptop hardrive, thus able to boot, install, and running Linux.

May be a simple boot management software can help you.

Google 'EasyBCD' and may look for tutorial on youtube.

It worked for me with UEFI and Ubuntu..but be careful with configuring settings, any mistake may create booting issue.

I remember those dark trolling/counter trolling days of mine....where you tried cheer me up/distract me etc by posting funny pictures of an elephant getting loaded onto a truck and such haha.

I won't forget your deep good nature Sarge buddy..."no more doom/gloom" comes easy to you (thankfully getting easier for me now too somewhat)...it is a gift you have. Bless you....and may you spread your good nature as much as possible.
