What's new

New rendition of Amar shonar Bangla released on 16.12.12

Akmal Sahib, what exactly was the concept of '71 ? :undecided:

@ Majority of the people of Bengal including the young lots wanted to liberate our country from the hands of Pakistan. Many of us were convinced that we the Bengales were ill treated in the united Pakistan. Were not given due share in all aspects ?

.
Apnar ato ga jole ken? Nijer corkai tel den.

We dont care what you guys call your national anthem, but when you insult Tagore (like most Bangladeshis in this thread have been), a countryman who many Indians look upto, then of course we are going to retaliate.

It was evident that Bengalis will never be allowed to take control of United Pakistan. So is the Bengali Nationalism aroused.
Nobody went to street for due share of money rather due share of the Power. Just analyze the struggle starting from 52 language movement.

@ The song never, I say again fits with the concept of 1971. It was some how tactfully imposed by some Awami and Indian (Calcasion) intellectuals.

They fought the whole war with this song. And after 40 years your delusional mind came to the conclusion that the song dont fitted in 1971. What a crrap.

@ We sung as because you had been singing it. Once we realize that it has an different agenda so we are now talking and giving our arguments. We sung at that time without knowing the past historical facts.

First i am not sure whether you are trolling or you are really an idiot writing anything which is coming to you, since how a people can write so much nonsense. You need more knowledge of how to use your net connection properly. Google more and get learned. I am not commenting on anything which is not historically proven but came out from your fertile mind.

Though majority were Hindus, but few noteble Muslim Zaminder/Nawab were there for example Nawab of Natore Nawab Ali Chowdhury. It was not that Muslims are allowed to go to Pathsala (not Patsha), but at general Muslim population moved away from modern education which deprived them from govt service. I can name a few "white muslin dhotis" person who are responsible for creation of Pakisthan present Bangladesh. But leaving the same on you to Google and find them. That time all the jute mills were owned by British. So you have to blame British for the same. Calcutta University is the oldest University in whole of undivided India. Even Government College University, Lahore once was under Calcutta University. So people have to come to Calcutta those days to study. Now something i can't stop laughing about. Tagore sponsoring " Onushillon" (it must be Anushilan) and "Juganantar"!Ohh.. Only one thakur was there and it was Suren Thakur. Again Google to increase your knowledge. Khudiram (Its a single word) never went to Bogra, it was Muzaffarpur mordern day Bihar he went to kill Kingsford-a notorius British officer. Song " Ek bar bidai de ma fere ashi" doesn't have Bharat Mata and it was not written by Tagore. Written by some unknown rural poet.
Rest are not historically not proven.

@ Many many thanks for correcting me but still the concept remains the same. About the spelling of "Pathsala" instead of "Patsha" sorry for that.

@ "Ek bar bedai de ma" is written by whom it is hardly matters.

@ There were many many evidences where Tagore himself sponsor those two organization like "Anushilon" and "Jugantar".

@ It was not only "Jamindars" the whole Hindu society used to hate those classless black Bengali muslims in those days. The common version of Hindus in those, " O tu musulman, nichu jat". Still I remember and fresh in my heart once in British India from 1936 to 1942 Congress was in power, it was almost compulsary to sing "Bande Mataram" in all schools/collages irrespective of any religion. No Muslims were even allowed to wear a "Lungi" they used to wear a "nangti or nangoti". Thanks to the "Wahabi Movement" which really taught us how to lead a muslim way of leading life.
