New LKF601E Air Cooling Airborne AESA radar for all JF-17 Block I and II

Yeah that seems to be plausible explanation and I hope PAF takes this route so even block-Is get upgraded with AESA radars i.e. LK601E due to their smaller size while block-III can accommodate the bigger KLJ7-A.
How much size diff is there b/w Block : 1 ,2 and 3 ?

I have a humble query. In another thread the specs are provided for the LKF601E AESA Radar are shared. In which the detection range for fighter sized targets is stated to be 170KM. If the specs shared in above link is correct, then the question comes to my mind is that it is also the same stated detection range for KLJ-7A AESA Radar. But if LKF601E is the comparatively lower end radar, being air cooled, then how come it matches the KLJ-7A AESA in detection range? Then what is it that makes it comparatively lower end and the KLJ-7A the higher end?

I would appreciate it if someone could clear my confusion on the issue.

The information about KLJ-7A is from Zhuhai Airshow-2016. At that time, KLJ-7A was just a fixed array.

As Quwa said earlier the real capabilities and the shortfall might be known only to the OEM and the entity which tested it, but one thing which was clearly mention in the official video and brochure of LKF-601 release during Zhuhai-2018 Air Show is that it have relatively limited tacking and targeting capabilities for example LKF-601 can tack only 15 targets and can engage only 4 targets simultaneously which shows modest improvement in computing power over KLJ-7(V-1) PD radar which can track 10 targets and can engage 2 targets simultaneously[1]

I have not find any official figures of target tracking and engagement of KLJ-7A or multi array version so can not comment about it.
