So U ( guess a Taiwanese livin in US who donno a clue about IN ) are telling about the efficiency of Indian Navy, by talking to a call center guy ( Guessin by his accent that he's of particular nationality ) . ¤INS Arihant is in its sea trial and will commision in 2012
¤INS Aridaman will hit sea trial next year and will commision in 2014
¤Another SSBN submarine is under constuction will commision around 2016..

So see we will commision 3 out 5 submarines by 2016....and by 2020 all the 5 submarines will be inducted in India Navy...

I know Taiwan have one. They have conscription there and people are chosen by lottery to the various services. Most people would rather avoid marines as they are the hardest to serve. I also looked up and China does have marines as well. India is probably the only major country without a marine.
