I don't think so. US is already busy in its war against terrorism in Middle East. Russia is rising again and US cannot afford to start another war with Russia.

I don't think US will come to help its NATO countries and NATO countries are not that much powerful to even defend themselves against a military power like Russia. US is already afraid of Russia and China friendship. Soon Pakistan and India will get membership of SCO. Both are nuclear countries. I hope other member countries force India, Pakistan and China to solve their disputes.

usa has 10 supercarriers and 6-7 medium carriers of the size of indian aircraft carrier.
They can fight 6-7 wars at the same time.

Russia has a lot of military hardware too and now trade between China and Russia plus Russia and Belarus is strengthening ruble.

Soon dollar will fall. Now super power has maintained its super power slogan forever. Fall of Ottoman Empire, Fall of Britain, Fall of Roman Empire etc. US will fall too.

Actually, a better comparison would be between Ford Mustang and 2015 Volvo XC90 from the Volvo division of Geely 400 hp baby

XC90 - $46k+?, 400hp (combined electric+conventional) ~4400lbs or 2000kg for 11lbs/hp
Mustang GT - $32k - 435hp ~3700lbs or 1678kg for 8.5lbs/hp

They are very different kinds of cars, direct comparison would be futile. If you want sporty, the Mustang is clearly better.

Appearance and taste are in the eye of the beholder, however, so spend your money as you wish.

Im am quoting a scenario in mid 2030's man.
It won't be a nato beater but will atleast be a financial powerhouse.

You should start working with your neighbours before going to other countries if you really want to become financial powerhouse.

The U.S alone can handle all these countries combined, and come out without too much damage(I mean in a conventional war, not nuclear). We are not talking of other European countries who alone can put a tough battle against all SCO members combined. Note that we in Europe are still quite advance technologically than both China and Russia who still import many critical arms/weapons/parts from us.

Moreover, SCO isn't an alliance, we can make an excuse to invade Uzbekistan tomorrow and there's nothing SCO will do about it , other than to protest.
But try invading a NATO member and you have a whole gang to face.

Attack on one NATO country is attack on all NATO countries. So, if germany got in problems with Russia, will other NATO countries come to rescue her?

That's why I said before. NATO isn't ready for war with Russia and China because their economy is not in good shape already.
