I think you don't understand the concept and expenses of ABM. It's very expensive and it takes decade to develop such technology. China is developing her ABM which will be operational by 2020. We are also developing 2 Layer of quality ABM. AAD/PDV- 2,000KM (2014) and AD-1,2 - 5,000 KM (2016). Everything going as per schedule and we started the development some 6-7 years back.

Also, US has offered Patriot System, Russia has offered S-400/500 (we already have S-300). We can also Buy Arrow-3 from Israel. We will be operating our ABM which will be world class. If it won't serve the purpose or fail for any reason (which i don't know as of now), We can always Buy any of the 3 best ABM from US, Russia and Israel. These systems won't be sold to any other country. In Short, We will have best ABM in future even if our fails (chance is negligible). China is far behind and long way to go. Pakistan can't buy from Russia, Israel, US nor it can develop on own. So, Only hope on China that also after 10 years minimum (that also If China makes something good and imports to Pakistan which also no one can confirm). A very hypothetical situation.

Exactly what would pakistan response be. They would not just sleep and let indian get such a lead to neutralise pakistani nukes. So perhaps the best defence and safer and cheaper option is for all neighbours leaders to solve all our issues peacefully through diplomatic means amicably

But why? India got nukes. so pakistan went and got nukes. If india did this it will encourage pakistan and others to take countermeusures. Why dont we resolve our issues peacefully. China can and will spend money to get around these misiles and it will only be a matter of time before they sell/give it to pakistan why encourage this arms race that is detremental to all our people in the neighbourhood

as soon as our ABM is up and running Pakistan will try to get around it one way or another but i don't see anything like that happening in the future and bhai saab dismantle the terrorist camps on your soil, stop the terrorist attacks on our country and the militant infiltration into our Kashmir then we can talk about peace

and presently India's ABM cannot counter Chinese ballistic missiles because unlike Pakistan China has MIRV'd missiles but we are developing laser based technology to destroy missiles in there terminal phase and 3 new ABM's that can engage Ballistic missiles of the 5,000km range we can counter the MIRV's with assigning 1 missile per warhead i've seen reports in which VK Saraswat has said India is developing ABM's which would destroy enemy missiles in there boost phase alone

There is no Arm Race between India-Pakistan. The gap is already very big and going forward, it will only increase more and more. But I don't think, India has any intention to go against Pakistan. Our defence is more to defend and not to go offence at first place. Also, India has another threat "China". We are improving our defence to face China threat. But again, it's for defend and not to initiate any attack. If Pakistan want to make peace with us, She has to take certain steps without that nothing will change in 5 years or 50 years.

the Pakistani nuclear arsenal is growing at a fast pace we need to make A LOT of ABM's i'd say at least 1,000 and place them near the IB

i really like the idea of U.S/India development of anti missile technology U.S can offer us national missile defense which would be very useful as it would protect the entire country from missile attack rather than just cities

Ali Bhutto paranoid starts a nuclear weapons program 1998 Lahore summit India and Pakistan patch up ties and for a period a bright relationship for the future was envisioned and you repay us back with the Kargil war and the 2001 parliament attack, even after those 2 events we restart the peace process and even gave you guys aid during the 2005 earthquake and the 26/11 attacks happen all this including the repeated infiltration of militants into Kashmir and still to this day the infiltration is happening the terrorist training camps are active you expect us to call for peace while you are bleeding us by 1,000 cuts? i have this attitude because i'm fed up with the Proxy crap and terrorist attacks on my country

NO no no. All three countries have unresolved border disputes. I am critical of leaders of all sides. I believe where there is a will theres a way. All three countries must sit down have some give and take and resolve all issues peacefully and work to eradicate injustice, hunger terrorism etc. Can you imagine what that would mean for our people, Travel from beijing to dehli to karachi amongst freinds.
