NATO about to lose Turkey's alliance

Not to mention that there is a radar in NATO's base within Turkish soil which is tracking Iranian missile tests and acts like an early warning system for Israelis. Turkey leaves NATO, Israel will get screwed undoubtedly
This decision rests with Turkey and no one else. This is not EU. If they Push Turkey too much Turkey will teach them a lesson. Turkish people love each other and are very much Patriotic and they know very well how to make Europe sing their song.

Too bad, Tunisia is a great country, could be a role model for the region.

But now we need to work on our Economy... take time... and money... and it' snot like our next door friend... are leaving in peace either...
and 24 past years with a retard as a Dictator... that crushed whatever "economy" we had... left.

Bu they are already in NaTO...
Well, it was more of a strategic necessity than due to real camaraderie. They want an ally to contain Russia in the Black Sea, even though Russian Navy can due to treaties have unhindered navigation across the Bosporus.

Until today Turkey has not ascended into EU. They want to use you militarily but they don't want you to access Europe.

Same goes for the eastern NATO countries... it's all a matter of strategy... or do you think Montenegro is giving to the alliance somthing usefull...except a kiss...

Is Russia really a threat to Turkey now? You could say it was true before the collapse of the Berlin wall. But now Russian interests align with Turkey. I can't say much about Montenegro, but Turkey had been trying to enter EU even before there was a Montenegro. The truth is Europeans do not view Turks as equals, you are the threat of Europe, the Germans are already feeling threatened by their large Turk population. Europe will turn Eurabia in another 100 years.

NATO and UE admission has nothing in common... both are meant for a purpose...
Turkey will not Leave NATO, since both sides need each others... Turkey is the second Pillar of NATO and NATO is the joker card of Turkey...

As for the UE admission, that's another Q... yes religion may play smthing...but let's be real..; it's mostly bc of Turkey economic "future" power that threaten UE, and mostly the West side... they will lose their monopoly on a west-centric Europe... with a mastodonte in the East side... that will drastictly grow in only matters of years with the access of the full UE market...

Turkey will rival the likes of France/Germany etc..; in few decades...a nd that's BEING OUTSIDE of the UE... I let you imagine... if they are in it... A decade+ and they will be equal to the superpowers of UE if they get a place in UE...

Europe will always find escuses to push behind this admission... whatever by calling undemocratic behavior or not... Always an escuse... even if Turkey is a pure Democracy that surpass Europe... they will always find somthing...

Is the NATO alliance more important to Turkey or Europe. The ones having political problem with Russia are not the Turks. Turkey is now a pawn in a great game to contain Russia while not getting any socio-economic advantages of EU. That's a bad deal, Greece has both, EU and NATO. Why do you think it was the case?

Yes, Turkey is a POWER in her own right, you do not need to be a European stooge, you are the PILLAR of the islamic world. Start acting like one, the Arabs are practically oil drones, only country with potential is Turkey and Pakistan if they managed to sort out the Taliban mess. China needs a real independent power as a friend, not a Western pawn.
