everything you use in everyday life is made by robots.
Visible light itself is just a part of the electromagnetic spectrum.
Electromagnetic waves are just photons vibrating at different frequencies. Using our naked eyes, we see only a limited range of electromagnetic waves which we call visible light. To "see" the rest of the spectrum, there's complex machinery (radars, cameras etc) which can see other frequencies of the spectrum.
Scientists have not just looked at mars (and the rest of the universe) in the visible spectrum, they've looked at it through everything in hopes of finding something interesting.
I know what you are saying but if they had done so, wouldn't they have at least confirmed the existence of jinns. I highly doubt they have used all of them. They have technology that can detect paranormal activity, yet many still don't believe in it and accept it as an opinion rather than a fact.
Unless the existence of jinns doesn't have much to do with light but more to do with the overlap of different universes (different types of space and time).
