No, it won't ... The doors of Ijtihad have been closed now, and even a consensus of modern day scholars cannot undo a consensus of the ulema of the past, and you have to follow whatever the ulema of the past have concluded.

My argument is quite simple. The facts of life are still the same as they were when The Book descended. As you said it is beyond the concept of Time or place or intellect.

For example: Slavery is still rampant in the world as it was 14000 years ago. Quran gives a practical solution on how to counter it on a social level.

Women face discrimination when registering crime from Papua New Guinea to USA. A practical solution is provided by accepting the shortcomings which are natural instincts. For e.g. the color of Kim Kardashians bag is still highly contested among women and women face problems recalling events which were stressful to them.

It is your indoctrinated belief that Islamic fiqhs are outdated and must be rebranded to fit the modern world but the world remains pretty much the same from the day the verse '' Today we have completed your Deen '' descended.
