BD neither created problem in MM or in NE. Your NE is backward and now somewhat progressing because we are allowing it by sacrificing our land, road, rail and river routes to facilitate your communications.

India keeps on asking for new facilities. This shameless India wants us to lease it 52 acres of land from a small country, asking for water from the Feni river, begging also for Ctg port facilities for Tripura and NE. But, here you are talking as if BD is taking away your teak, water, and land.

- Arakan was an independent Kingdom historically.
- The Burmese occupied it from 1784 to 1826.
- In 1826, Arakan was ceded to British India as war reparation after the First Anglo-Burmese War.
- It became part of the Province of Burma of British India in 1886.
- British Burma was split off from British India in 1937.
- After 1948, Rakhine became part of the newly independent state of Burma.

However, the independence of Arakan was just in the paper after a few years because Myanmenization or nationalism of Myanmar broke out civil war across nationwide. Now, Burma has expelled the rightful Rohingya citizens from the very Arakan they first occupied in 1784.

The Muslim population of about 2 million is a small minority even in Arakan. How can they become a majority in the entire MM? Bamars are just xenophobic. They expelled millions of Indians after 1948 although encouraged by the British-Burmese govt they went to work there where the MALE population is historically lazy and most of the works are done by the females, even outside the house.

Now, compare this xenophobic attitude with the positive attitude shown in Malaysia where there is a sizable Chinese and Indian population, also brought there by the British govt.

Yes, it is true that this Shan insurgency is not new and it itself was not conducted by the Rohingyas. Thailand has given shelter to many Shan nationals. The rebels are being encouraged by the events after Rohingyas were expelled by the MM Junta. MM will disintegrate into many pieces.

Could be. I dont have much knowledge on Burmese history. Majority people including me has to rely on Google and social media for information. I was stating the Burmese perspective, could be right or wrong.

The past British colonial decisions are responsible for many of the current issues in Burma, Arakan and other states. For example, Arakan was part of The Presidency of Bengal but was joined with British Burma for easy administration from Rangoon.
