A country's many difficulties arise from taking away the rights by one powerful group from other weak groups. MM should vie for a political solution to its problem with domestic anti-Bamar adversaries. Burma is a Union in name but it is also a union of many nationalities. So, a unique solution must be thought out by the Bamars and others that should also include the Muslims who call themselves Rohingyas. MM is a very large country with so few populations. There should be place and food for every one of its citizens.

Myanmar does not have very few population relative to it's land mass. Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Argentina, Australia are way more bigger in size than Myanmar but has lower population than that of Myanmar.

The past British colonial decisions are responsible for many of the current issues in Burma, Arakan and other states. For example, Arakan was part of The Presidency of Bengal but was joined with British Burma for easy administration from Rangoon.

In my opinion, spine is not going to grow with Hasina leadership. One of the reasons is that Hasina Bibi does not want the military generals to come forward. She is worried about her own position. The govt intentionally stopped developing the air force. Note that it was during the time of General Moeen/CTG that the BN forced the Burmese fleet to run away from a contested sea area.

Had there been strong political personalities like Mujib, General Zia, General Moeen or Indira Gandhi the Burmese would not have dared to expel the Rohingyas from their ancestral homes. Military brasses are trained to assess the psychology of an enemy country's leaders before advancing. They have very correctly assessed Hasina's psychology.
