I think India is pretty clever on this issue, since there are already two giants like Russia and China who hold up against the West, so they just don't need to cast their vote to further offend the West.

I am against any military intervention in Syria as well, but China and Russia should make sure that Sryian civilians don't end up suffering in the name of crackdown on the rebels.

China should be careful in dealing with any Sunni Muslim country in the future. Cause as I said, Saudi Arabia holds a lot of power over these countries/people, and Saudi Arabia and America is probably the closest of allies.
