I am not judging the intention of the IMAM yes Muslims should do something about Assad really very fast or it will be to late but they should not take any help from forces of Kufr that will be another disaster but Muslims Forces should warn last time ASSAD and if doesn't pay any heed to that warning than Muslim Armies should take out Assad and his forces and help Syrians elect government on their own MAY ALLAH help all Syrians and ease their difficulties

Maronites and Copts don't consider themselves as Arabs. Maronites used to speak Syriac Aramaic and Copts used to Speak Coptic Language(last stage of Egyptian language) which got extinct by 17th century. And there are handful of christians in other Arab countries.
