Thanks for your opinion.

1.8+ billion (and growing!) Muslims of the world would really take into account what bunch of f*cking non-Muslim Europeans think about the Qur'an and the "image of Muslims"

In all honesty, you are better off preaching your women some moral values so they don't whore around and sleep with ten different men 'for fun' before they decide to get a steady boyfriend in college.

F*ck off.

The only thing you can come with is insults. Lel.

The Quran is an old book, written in a different context and time, sure it needs an update. Many of its verses (or whatsoever) can be taken out of the context, can create confusion and can be used to deteriorate the image of muslims.

Its all about the interpretation of Quran or any book to be honest, I think 99.9% Muslims would not agree with changing or omitting anything in Quran no matter which Sect or School of thought they belong to. The best thing is to stop salfist/wahabi influence from Middle East but no European leader seems to have balls against Saudi funding Wahhabis in Europe.

The Bible says "an eye for an eye". France doesn't have the death penalty. If some Christian is aggrieved by a motorist running over his family and takes a gun to kill the motorist, will the French then demand that the words of the Bible be changed? I think not

France is very very anti religion, they banned crosses from class rooms so don't think this is just one sided but there is more focus on Muslims now no thanks to what has been happening in France for the past few years. How about Muslim clerics in France join together and stop extremism in their mosques and start reporting radical Imams?

what about Bible?

Bible also incites violence against non believers, do you think Bible also needs to be changed in today's context?

There are many verses in Bible which incites killings, rape and hatred about non believers of Jesus of Nazreth.

People have the right to speak and therefore express their opinion...But it doesn't mean they have the power to impose upon others...
It's a political stunt... Nothing more Nothing less... A way to "Re-Exist" for some...

Quran will never change, Muslims Themselves have no power upon the writings of the Quran so...

The Bible and the Talmud or any "Religious" book have those topics... And they are "Essential" in the religious belief... and Human society...

You do realize (presumably as a Muslim) that radicalism is purely an outlet for frustrated people who use religion or a cause for their own selfish purposes. Neither I, and I am certain you, would pick up a weapon and kill a bunch of innocent people walking in the centre of Hyde Park simply because they are not Muslims. In fact most Muslims would not do so. If a few cranks misinterpret the words of any holy book then why should the believers of that religion be made to pay. I am strongly against the use of animal skins and fur etc for clothing but that doesn't mean that I would take blood and throw it at somebody who uses the stuff. Should animal rights activism now be banned or curtailed because a few fruitcakes do throw blood on people using fur? Extremism and radicalism doesn't necessarily start at the mosques. It starts from the time the insane person starts looking for a cause to harm humanity

Sri Lanka would militarily conquer U.S before Qur'an gets changed to appease bunch of f*cking Kaffirs.

Best of luck......
Make that Somalia....

They are more than welcome to try, because this is something which will directly invite the divine wrath of Allah(SWT).

The French have their heads stuck too far up their own arse. I say this because instead of changing their liberal ideology which promotes the utterly unrealistic, impractical and nonsensical fantasy of globalism/multiculturalism. These daft people should know better that it's one of the late stages leading to collapse of any given society, nation or an empire. But instead, they had an epiphany to change the Quran.
Well it is the French....even when Rowan Atkinson played the devil Toby upon his list of arrivals into hell the French were on the top of his list...

I agree with you to a degree but lets be honest the problem is that these loonies find theological support from radical Imams. You just have to open your eyes, if there wasn't a extremism problem we wouldn't be discussing this.

This whole world can burn the quran, the very next day it will be brought to its original foam because unlike other books Quran is store in hearts of the believes and have been memorized by muslim this is called hifz.

21st century saw many countries, religions (Europe, RSS Hindutva) are directly confronting Islam. Even Internet can be considered the biggest enemy of Islam (Ali Sina's book, Ibn Warraq's as examples). Earlier, criticizing Koran and Islam deemed death penalty.. Murtad ki sazaa mout. But, now, many Muslims are questioning religion, many are leaving Islam, many are continuing as Muslims despite being atheists due to living in orthodox Muslim societies. Some converts to Protestant churches. The root is shaken. The belief of the infallibility of Allahu is being questioned. This stand true for other religions also, though. Ultimately, world will move to a new religion - consumerism and western values.
