There's no need to delude ourselves with such fantasy stuffs lIke oho musalmano ne Ram jee ko imam maan liya and all that shit. We should instead focus on bringing up the per capita income and improving the living standards of the people so that they become less obsessed with religion. Actually discussing about religion and their significance on open forums and the way in which they outline certain problems and deal with them should be of great help. Other than that what do we hope to gain from such gimmicks? You please answer my simple question what do we gain from such gimmicks? And if I concede its is not a gimmick than what could be the outcome?

Hind is the land which is beyond the River Indus and for centuaries this land is called Hind, Hindustan and the native people call it Bharat Varsh.

Messengers are role models and Lord Rama even do have a book. What is wrong in calling him Imam e Hind ? The word imam is an Arabic work that means “leader.” who is an role model. why it should be any issue when majority of hindus see Lord Ram as role model ?

precisely, there was one muslim guy travelling in a train once in which I was also travelling. apparently he did phd in islam in Saudi Arabia. he was absolutely confused as a person could be. he said that proof that allah exists was that its mentioned in bible. on further questioning he mentioned that he studied bible in Arabic, and the transalation of God in Arabic was allah. So obviously allah would appear in bible. lol.
Then he tried to say why Hinduism is false. his example was that when we offer food and call it Prasad, the hindu god can do nothing if a cockroach or lizard eats that food. I was thinking that islam produces learned phd's like him and felt sorry for them.

You are very right in quoting these verses from Quran but a Prophet or Messenger's role is just to spread the message of God Almighty to the people whom he has been sent and to implement it.
Ram may be a Prophet or may not be as their is no any revelation or any other evidence to prove it.
A prophet is a human being and cannot be worshiped or it will become idolatry and Shirk and the whole purpose of his Prophet hood will be destroyed. All the other prophets except the final Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) were sent for a particular period, people and place. After the final prophet there will be no Prophet and the message brought by him is for the whole world as long as it exists as he is the end of the Prophetic chain which started with Adam (PBUH).

We gain the beginning of mutual respect. And THAT is the ONLY thing we need.

I am quite literally telling you how logic works. Precedence is one thing, principle is another, yet there is not only one way to use logic. Besides, you arguing that I'm not using logic properly is itself a logical fallacy, its called tu quoque.

They don't follow 'Sahih' Islam. Happy? Let them be. They have lived there for centuries and have evolved into a composite Indian way of life. That is natural, unless disturbed by some pure Salafi
