Then where does all the Arab and Turk invaders vanished ? And from where this religion Islam came ? Does they (Arabs and Turks) whispered something in ears of local Hindus and ran away back to Arabia and Central Asia ?
Chaining ancestry in Islam is one of the big crimes. I don't think anyone changes his/her ancestry in Pakistan. There are people who call themselves children of local bloodlines and feel no shame and there are others who claim foreign blood lines. There is no reason to negate them. If you are doubtful about yours, you can have some test, like DNA.
We do have Arab blood lines in Pushtun tribes, like KakaKhails and no one point fingers at their claims. There are Awans in my area, from South Waziristan up to Kalabagh and they claim foreign bloodlines and we never point fingers at them.
This pointing fingers culture is mostly in Punjab.
I should have clarified I was referring to the Punjabi Muslim tribes. And no I never said the Arab or Turks vanished. But that line of reasoning can quite easily be contradicted by the example of the Norman invasion of England. In recent genetic testing, hardly any of the population of the U.K shows and "Norman" input, and if we go back and look at the Roman invasion, the same is concurred again. However, I won't go too much in to that as I don't think you actually want to discuss that.
Frankly I don't know enough about Pushtun tribes so I won't comment on them, as for Awans I come from that tribe. I have my own dna tested and I have also seen the results for a dozen others. There is nothing "arab" about their genetics, unless you count the paternal haplogroup which used alone doesn't prove "Arab" ancestry.
And people have changed ancestries in Pakistan and India, unless of course you are accepting that there are now more Syeds here than the rest of the world combined. I don't mind people claiming to be whatever they want, personally I just find it amusing when they can't back it up with anything concrete. I am not doubtful about my ancestry, already know where I come from.
It is just an academic discussion, no need to take it to heart, lad.
