Musharraf Ki Yaad AAyi Us Kay Janay Kay Baad

Thank God, finally people are relaizing.

The gentleman who made this call sounds like someone from Punjab and I am very happy that finally the people in Punjab are realizing the efforts and sacrifices of President Musharraf.

"efforts and sacrifices" !!!! you must be joking. It,s really difficult to explain the entire dynamics of POLITICAL PROCESS in just a few sentences, nevertheless i,ll make an effort to just point to the blunders made by Pervez Musharraf on the political and economic fronts, besides his utter failure in the war against terror.
Just keep in mind that the SUPREME COURT of the country gave him three years to rule like a dictator and amend the constitution .(for which he'd not even requested) Whereas the same court is making life tough for the political govt right in its infancy.
Remember sir, your economy took a downward slide much before an elected govt was in the driving seat. During the period of interim govt artificial means were being tried to avoid the inevitable burst of the bubble. Let me make one thing clear over here that economy can never grow unless your exports are larger than your imports. Ours being an agro based economy, we can never ever achieve real growth unless we fully exploit our agricultural potential. This includes increase in per acre yield of all crops, ensuring a fair price to the grower, economizing on the available water for irrigation and quite a few other measures. To explain my point in simplest words, i would give you the example of how from 40 kg of wheat seed we get 50 times more produce, this is real growth.Selling cars in the market which will run on imported fuel is not necessarily the true indicator of the economic growth. Luxury items flooded the market but no attention was paid to increase the production of electricity. Now the power crisis has forced the industries to reduce their production thus laying off labour and making people jobless, moreover unable to meet the orders from international market and losing our share of foreign exchange. Why didn't P.M. go for dams that were to be so vital for water conservation and cheap power generation ? Unfortunately the man he chose to give boost to the economy was a banker who would never think beyond monthly, half yearly and yearly closings and/or making profits. This is what Shaukat Aziz did and the moment he left the economy came tumbling down. Had their been real economic growth, its momentum would have carried us to at least 2 to 3 years before coming to a standstill.
On political front the matters were handled in the crudest manner possible. The way an artificial political party was cobbled together before 2002 elections and the manner in which matters were handled to break away members of parliament from other parties made the whole process look a farce. When you lose the moral grounds you can't talk of fairplay or discharging your duties honestly. See what's happening now !! All those shameless politicians who made hay while the sun shone are now placing the entire blame on P.M. The guys who announced in public gatherings that they'll elect Pervez Musharraf president in uniform ten times, are now denouncing him and trying to appear so innocent.
On the war front lesser we talk better it would be. The most unfortunate part of the bluff was its adverse effect on the morale of the troops fighting the insurgents . Lives were lost, troops were ridiculed and it was made to look as if terrorists were superior fighters than the troops of Pak army. The basic principles of war were blatantly violated just to achieve myopic objectives. Aren't these the same troops who have now made the insurgents look like a disorganized bunch ! We've lost officers and soldiers but the pride has been restored. The army has displayed professionalism and commitment to the cause and has come out of the Swat and South Waziristan operations with its head high.
I believe the enlightened moderation gave us five times higher number of madressahs in the country at the end of his tenure as compared to the time of his takeover. The country was knee deep in trouble as far as the internal security situation was concerned. The writ of the state was almost non existant, crime was rampant, corruption was the order of the day and the community suffering the most were the law abiding citizens of the country.

Pervez Musharraf will have to wait and see how the history treats him, the people of Pakistan will remember him for at least one of his many qualities, backtracking on each of his commitments.

its better to have a military dictator rather than a ignorant matric fail president ,
he made an image of pakistan , he saved us on 9/11 ,
Mr 10 % is only good in kick backs and commissions for himself and his family ..
other than that he aint worth a dime even

Quite frankly he was never a military dictator because SCoP under Ch. Iftikhar (current CJP) confirmed him to work as the CEO and President. IK, JI and PML-Q voted him to work with two offices.

Do the haters even know that after Pervez Musharraf left prices have gone up by 50%, Dollar has risen to 86 after remaining stable at 62 for 8 years ? And once again Pakistan has had to take loans from IMF ? Besides that there is a continuing shortage of flour, sugar, electricity and for the first time in Pakistan's history Natural Gas ????
KSE-100 has gone down from 16000 points down to 8000 points, that ground too has been recovered after two years of experiments and loan begging. From being the "Best Market to Invest in Asia" KSE-100 has become a shell of it's former prosperous self.
If democracy means that the poor go to sleep hungry while the rich just sit and count their wealth, then these chumps can take their democracy and stuff it where the sun don't shine..................

Do the haters even know that after Pervez Musharraf left prices have gone up by 50%
level of prices during Musharraf era was inflated due to sudden rise per capita income and resulting high demand where as present inflation is due devaluation of Pak currency. so in reallity prices have gone up more than 50%

from being pro Musharraf to now neutral after i read detailed confirm reports about what Musharraf and his lot did the prime minister sold govt assets and did corruptions and left something for komi khazana telling the world we've done financial miracles which was nothing but selling govt public assets and putting those money into khazna as well as over printing notes and that's nothing new rest of the world knows it except for a couple of things 1 getting close to china 2 gawadar i don't see miracles done by previous govt..
No problem Musharraf can come back but this time he has to apologize and go against west if he wants popularity and true votes for himself and his party possibly old party or new one..
Any person and his party who comes into power must truly demonstrate his loyalty to Pakistan and this time around some steps must be taken to surprise people of Pakistan to admire them truly some of the things like ayub khan did if not all was great..

weird enough people of Pakistan votes for those who time and again come into power putting Pakistan in huge debts and gets away with it..these is something really really wrong with our common people!we've become blind deaf and dumb!

Sold government assets and putting those money in khazana?

Pakistan has raised around $6 billion selling state assets in the past 15 years.
Daily Times - Leading News Resource of Pakistan

If we put all this amount of $6 billion, that has been raised in the past 15 years..... it is less than the $16.4 billion that we had as our foreign reserves in October 2007.

you don't sell assets for less do you? and eat more than half of it and for payara Pakistan you left a little and put that in khazana! and than declare economy to be magically going great! nice oh and over print money! that is not great econimic policies or economy going in the right direction...

again unless Gawadar is not fully operationalized in true manner with fair investment and given to reliable company (China kicked out Singapore in)...unless we don't thrive to start large projects like thar coal mining, unless we don't bring back the ship breaking industry atleast if not ship making!, unless we don't go for deep sea oil exploration and extraction, unless we don't explore more mineral, unless our agriculture is not as good high tech as japan or even china, unless we don't have proper godowns for agri products all over Pakistan so they are not wasted etc sorry to say we're no good in any field!!
keep on asking and getting loans for 2 decades you got huge loans did implement IMF policies agreed with them in return you get a crap economy on paper its way too cool right? and further beg nations and IMF and world bank to give you more loans great going true figure of external debt $60+ billion internal debt 80+ billion enjoy! and 460 billion rupees write off since 1970/71...

What do you think we will ask God for all that stuff and when we wake up the other day it will be there ???????????
Ventures like those mentioned by you require HUGE investment of capital and workforce, which Pakistan lacks at the time...........not to mention energy which we cannot generate because this government has exhausted our Furnace oil reserves accumulated during Pervez Musharraf's time.
They are not buying more..................as a consequence only about half of all units in Thermal power plants are running.:frown:
