What's new

Muqtada al-Sadr visits Saudi Arabia for the first time in 11 years

Frankly speaking I don't even know what my rank here entitles me, neither I am interested, I am just seeker of knowledge.

So, in your wisdom this Saudi move on ME chessboard means nothing and would have no impact? O bootlicker of Persian Mullahs!!

Knowledge seekers talk about fact instead of ranting like Kids. Well. Do you even know Sadr?

.
i wish i could visit saudi arabia too . the red sea must be even more enjoyable and transparent than the persian gulf.

Kiddo, go back to my original posts, and you will get impression that I was asking for opinion of those who understand the Iraqi internal politics. But since you are repyling with some random BS and you stinks after being right up in Persian/Iranian Mullahs arses, you own credibility at best is weak.

As for Sadr, some googling might help

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muqtada_al-Sadr

Muqtada al-Sadr (Arabic: مقتدى الصدر‎, translit. Muqtadā ṣ-Ṣadr‎; born 12 August 1973)[2] is an Iraqi Shia cleric, politician and militia leader. He is the leader of a political party, the Sadrist Movement and the leader of Saraya al-Salam, a Shia militia that is a reformation of the previous militia he led during the American occupation of Iraq, the Mahdi Army.

Muqtada al-Sadr is one of the most influential religious and popular figures in Iraq, despite not holding any official title in the Iraqi government.

Seems like a man who is the top dog in Iraqi internal politics.

You may want to disagree for the reasons I mentioned earlier.

You're that Internet General Kid who just reads a Wiki Article and thinks he knows everything lol. First go learn properly.

Some are putting too much emphasis on Sadr. Sadr's visit comes as part of other figures visiting Saudi and vice-verse.

Saudi foreign minister visit to Iraq
Iraqi foreign minister visit to Saudi
Iraqi PM meeting with Saudi king in a regional conference
Saudi chief of staff visiting Iraqi chief of staff

With this Sadr isn't doing anything outside of gov policy, just adding some PMU weight behind that policy

داداش این چیزایی که شما می گی رو من قبلا مطرح کردم برادرا تو جواب به من گفتن "نگران نباش نصف جهان اسلام با مائه" دیگه این کنایه بود یا توهم من نمی دونم.

Why dont you teach me about this man then? I will be more then happy to listen to you, once you have taken your head out of Iranian Mullah ***.

. . . .
Well for being taught it also requires some intellect. You're a type of child that reads a wiki article and thinks hes a defense analyst.

As I said, once you have taken your head out Iranian Mullah arses, then we can war game this. Till then your rants are irrelevant.

Actually it is your wahhabi head into wahhabis azz.

Masochist wahhabi.

Those who know me, know this fact that I despise both house of Saud and Iranian Mullahs. Two horns of devil.

BUT, the Saudis here have played a masterstroke but inviting Sadr.

After a tea laced cup, Moktada declared that sign and pamphlet dregatory to Saudi Arabia should be banned in Irak...Upon his return to Baghdad, Hizbullah will Sadr fetwaed terrorist, and Assad Public ennemi nbr one! The Saudi Riyal at work on Sadr as did the US dollars on Muktada..

A bunch of non-Arabs barking in a thread about 2 neighborly Arab countries and Arab individuals meeting each other.

Nonsense talk about sect and what not. Don't you fools get it? Blood is thicker than water. The same Muqtada al-Sadr is originally from KSA. Similarly to how the vast majority of the Iraqi Shia Arabs from Southern Iraq are from KSA originally and half of them are fairly recent arrivals (4-5 generations - some even migrated as early as the 1950's). This Arab migration from North to South has occurred for 3000 years in a row. Millenia before that our mostly Semitic ancestors took part in the same ancient migrations. Dating back to Neolithic times, a period that began in our lands, obviously. 12.000 + years ago.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neolithic

Anyway this is irrelevant. Outsiders won't know this but clerics, tribal leaders, important personalities from KSA and Iraq meet on a monthly if not a weekly basis.

Recently King Salman and Al-Abadi (prime minister of Iraq in case people don't know) have met each other in KSA a few times and during various Arab League meetings. Chiefs of Staffs have met in Baghdad a few weeks ago. Religious delegations (Sunni, Shia, whatever - does not matter) met regularly.

Even the Iraqi interior minister Qassim al-Araji (pro-Mullah individual)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qasim_al-Araji

visited Riyadh and met with MBS:

As I said blood is thicker than water. Always will be. Likewise there is no hostility and won't ever be any hostility between the average Saudi Arabian and Iraqi, expect for political disagreements if they even exist in particular cases. It's totally outrageous to suggest anything else. As if an Al-Tamimi from Basra harbors any hatred to an Al-Tamimi (distant cousin) in neighboring KSA. Just an example. Regimes is another discussion altogether. People within their own countries mostly dislike their regimes. Big deal.

What a freak show here as usual. So the usual suspects can go suck it and for a very long time. Please don't choke to death as it will be the Arab version.
