Mulla Burqa Posh still Want to Negotiate with TTP Al Ahrar

But your credibility goes down the drain when you have someone less than a KM from ISI HQ spewing such venom.

The fight must be 50% kinetic and 50% about "hearts and minds" --- the de-radicalization and 'zero-tolerance for intolerance' drives that must happen!

BTW, I totally agree that unless we hit the source (and in my mind that doesn't just mean the camps / sanctuaries in Afghanistan, but NDS and RAW themselves), we won't solve this.

Policymakers used to think all hell would break loose if we touched Malik Ishaaq / the top LeJ leadership. Sectarianism would explode. The Shia community would face daily violence and a mini civil war of sorts would engulf society...

Guess what --- FINALLY somebody had the balls to decimate the entire leadership in one go and barely anything happened. Unfortunately, a suicide bomber was allowed into the Punjab Home Minister's (shaheed) open "town hall" style meeting. It was a terrible loss, but society and the country at large remained unaffected.

Similarly, we should deal with Burqa decisively to put an aggressive face on our policy of zero tolerance for hate speech, etc.
If Pak govt knows this person is spreading venom in society, why doesnt govt take strict action against him? Does govt lack political support to get rid of him or is it something else?

.
So was Malik Ishaq... If you know what i am saying

Malik Ishaq's LeJ is declared terrorist organization by Pak Govt, UN, US etc. which automatically made him outlawed while this Mullah apparently doesn't belong to any group, major difference. To me he is much over rated, talking shit from his madrassah and media at times giving him unnecessary coverage.

Agreed on both accounts.

However, I still think to show seriousness either the Govt or PA should shut this bastard and his organization up for good.

He was too popular to vanish from the surface of the planet all a sudden especially when our own media was bashing Musharaf all over the place on Lal Masid operation. Implementation of treason case could had made his life restricted to court to prison only and that was and still is required.

My point was that when the PA/ISI wants to act unilaterally without the govt's support or even knowledge, it does. So I don't buy it when they use the excuse of not having political backing / govt approval for certain other actions.

But yes, I totally agree with you --- life should be difficult for him and he should know, just like everyone else, that any form of hate speech will land him straight in jail.

There is a reason why there was a surge in suicide attacks after death of his brother. Now we see an organization popping up in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria named after his dead brother.

It's one of those mysterious. Fear of backlash, him not mattering enough in terms of actual on the ground affects, etc., could be some of the reasons.

In Malaysia, all the religious setup dealing in affairs with Muslims, Christians, Hindus, Buddhists and Sikhs is owned by the govt. No private religious setup is allowed in the country. The positive result of this policy is that no religious setup can be used by any foreign sponsor. In Pakistan also, all the religious setups must be nationalized and no private religious setup must be allowed. In Saudi Arabia and Iran also, all the religious setups are controlled by the govt. directly.

We underestimate the number of potential terrorists there are in Pakistan by a large margin

When a majority of Madressa graduates are given ideas that inspire a sense of entitlement and superiority over anyone else who opposes that line of thinking

These people Aren't bad people but they aren't really aware or want to be aware
They have faced their problems for so long that they don't care for explanations and solutions

Everything from their mother's illness to them unabke to find a job, no electricity and so on needs fixing which they can't seem to.
And jf the mullah at the madressa tells them that these are the result of sins of Pakistanis or even if not they'll take all that frustration out on what they assume is the last shred of "possession" they have; their honor

Absolute load of libtard rubbish based on an uninformed, biased, and presumptive view of reality. The Madressahs and people associated with them are the most sincere Pakistanis of all, infinitely more loyal than university educated 'babus'. Those 70 million additional troops you rely on in case of war with India won't comprise wealthy scions of noblemen, rather poor Medressah students who will willingly give their lives for this land.

The negative result is that a mockery of Islam is celebrated all over Malaysia. I remember reading a Dawn article many years ago. The author had recently visited Malaysia and listened to a woman giving the Friday sermon.

Amongst many other clamities, one of the biggest we face is that of Ilhad.

The way religion is exploited in our country, that will be stopped definitely, if the govt. takes up all the religious affairs in its own hands. In Iran also, there is a centralization. Nobody can exploit religion for his personal interests in Iran.

Madereass are in real terms orphanages where the orphans are in majority. They are brainwashed to carry out the activities dictated by their teachers. Their teachers simply carry out the dictation of their foreign financiers and sponsors.

The way PA is operating against rented terrorists is not right. When bastards like mulla burqa is walking freely & fully supporting terrorism against Pakistan & similarly many of shia clerics are doing the same, also it is important to know that the facilitator or funder of rented terrorists Achakzai is too roaming freely & barking against Pakistan. When bastard people like them stay untouched then Pakistan will suffer.

They don't have a problem "disappearing" citizens when they want to.

I don't buy this argument. They have the ability to covertly kill/vanish people. They need the will to use it and to deal with the political backlash. I have been advocating this to many in the intelligence world --- let's see.

There is already a "Gazi force" they don't want to create another one. Even if he dies of fu**king diarrhea, he will be termed a Martyr and a hero, it is better that he is alive but under watch.

I agree that there is a potential for backlash...

However, not doing anything does reflect badly on the State's power when such a man is allowed to live/thrive/spew venom in the f**king Capital!

The first paragraph is just you ranting and sounding like a Donald trump supporter who wants to eridicate Islam; he is a product of being uneducated, intolerant and generally fearful and hateful of everything not his kind.
Seems you are the same

As for 70 million and their loyalty, considering that these people are usually at the forefront of any riot on western blasphemous content that ends up destroying Pakistani public property ; their loyalty is like that of a poison.

Most of these 70 million(more like 20 to 25 million) can't pickup a gun and are generally braver at beating up women or non combatants.

But, they are part of a sinking ideal which the west actually likes to see happen; so thank you for being a western supportive

Kindly support these claims with proof.

The current government consists of materialistic, largely irreligious, mental slaves of foreign powers, some of whom are on record regarding their inability to recite basic surahs from the Holy Quran. The government will never hold any religious authority in the eyes of pious Muslims.

When worldly, materialistic rulers finally reach the point where they get what they deserve, they start meddling with religion and try to impose their own authority in religious affairs.

In Islam, the most pious and knowledgeable people are the ones who become rulers. They obviously hold respect, and authority. We need a huge change before this can happen. Personally, I am not comfortable with any of the current lot: Nawaz Sharif, Zardari, and Imran Khan.

Come on, both of us are better than this. Let us support claims with solid facts and not make uncorroborated generalizations.

The people destroying public property are caught between religion and 'democracy'. Nobody pays any attention to them if they don't follow the 'shining precepts of democracy exemplified by civilized western societies'. If everybody listened to their humble requests, they wouldn't need to be so 'democratic'. In a 'democracy', when a group wants to make strong demands, this is what they do:

Riots engulf French streets: Protesters torch a Porsche as 170,000 students and activists clash with police over labour laws

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2011_England_riots
The 2011 England riots occurred between 6 and 11 August 2011, when thousands of people rioted in several London boroughs and in cities and towns across England. The resulting chaos generated looting, arson, and mass deployment of police and resulted in the death of five people.

It is strange that people like Mr. Bush and Mr. Obama have been quick to deplore any rioting by Muslims, and look the other way when their own people do the same thing. And you seem to be following their example. Should you feel ashamed?
