Since God is not a human or has no qualities of human therefore what you demand from God is not acceptable nor does he follows human way your question solved....He does it all the way his way not human way..cheers hope your mind is cleared that's why i advise to think before leaping..

Secondly God needs no help of mankind God is self sufficient it is God's way what are his plans he know you do not know for he knew people like you would pose such questions for example would god raise us all alive after death? and why not he gives life he causes death he can raise you alive once again...Prophets and books of God were sent to follow rules procedures teach through his selected men to those those who lived barbarians life to become civilized..and to differentiate good from bad and right from wrong...
So man is created by God so he follow the order of God it is as simple your army follows the general or do they follow wives/moms/third gender or maybe ur General doesn't need help to win a war or fulfill the strategy?

Luftwaffe. With all due respect to your idea of God. Is your God a general who needs mankind as an army to fight His battles for Him. Read your post and that is all I could make of its interpretation. Yes indeed , Prophets were sent with messages but the message of bloody warfare proscribed by any Prophet is something I find hard to digest. Given that Muhammed , Prophet of God [PBUH] fought a warfare during his preachings of the word of God. Examine the reasons for that warfare and it was simply defensive and given to limitations.

God as "General" for the purpose of understanding to you was to clean ur mind that God give orders man has to follow it he is the creator and sustainer thus man has no option but to follow what is truth you do not reject what is truth or do you..and or do you? You do not throw flower at your enemy in warfare do you? There is no message of bloody warfare in Islam as you're pointing to the prophet of Islam read Quran with understanding and in Context you'll know and come to understand the warfare..to further clear your mind

The first few verses of Surah Tawbah before verse 5 speak about the peace treaty between the Muslims and Muskhriks (polytheists) of Makkah. This peace treaty was unilaterally broken by the Mushriks of Makkah. In verse no. 5 Allah (swt) gives them an ultimatum to put things straight in four months’ time, or else face a declaration of war. It is for the battlefield that Allah says “fight and slay the Mushriks (i.e. the enemies from Makkah) wherever you find them and seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem of war”.

This verse is revealed and instructs the Muslims to fight in the battlefield and kill the enemy wherever you find them. But natural, any army general to boost up the morale of the soldiers and to encourage them will say “Don’t get scared, fight and kill the enemies, wherever you find them in the battlefield. Arun Shourie in his book ‘The World of Fatwas’ after quoting Surah Tawbah chapter 9 verse 5 jumps to verse 7. Any logical person will realize that verse 6 has the reply to his allegation. (You too are pointing to the verse and indirectly point about prophet and his warfare tactics)

Surah Tawbah chapter 9 verse 6 says:
“If any amongst the Mushriks (i.e. the enemies) ask thee for asylum, grant it to him so that he may hear the word of Allah and then escort him to where he can be secure”.
(Al Qur’an 9:6)
Today the most merciful army general may tell his soldiers to let the enemy go, but Almighty Allah in the Qur’an says if the enemy wants peace do not just let them go but escort them to a place of security. Which army general in today’s day and age, or rather in the whole of recorded human history is ever known to have given such merciful instructions?

Why giving a ticket for DUI when God is most capable of doing it Himself? Why having judicial/law enforcement institutions when God is most capable of carrying out his duty himself?

@those who are talking of freedom of speech: Where does the freedom of speech go when people are barred from refusing or even debating on the much exaggerated holocaust thingy?

In Europe, you can expose yourself, even have sex in the public places, but this is not allowed in the US; where goes the freedom of speech and act than? Should the US be cursed for its conservativeness?

@those who are saying people make fun of Jesus, Moses: What is good about it? Is it a shameful act showing the lack of moral ad ethical values, and respect for the elders who are not even this world or an example to justify those similar things should be done with Muhammed (PBUH)?

At any rate, the act of the cartoonist is condemnable but certainly does not warrant that someone tries to kill him or punish him extra-judicially. Those who do these kinds of things and those who try to defend them both have no respect whatsoever for the Prophet of the Muslims; they don’t even recognize him as a prophet, how come they would show any respect. And why cry for the Muslim Prophet? I have seen photos where people have tattooed Jesus’ image on their pubic area; this much respect they have for their own prophet whom they also consider son of the God and the Holy Spirit.

How many of you (Muslims) have read the Old and the New Testament? I am sure not many. Both the books are full of condemning the successive prophets, accusing them of adultery, fooling around with women, moral crimes and what not. After reading these stories, you can develop anything but respect for the Prophets, the men of God. So I won’t blame them if they make fun of Muhammed.

For those who do not know. Ireland has recently enforced a law which makes blasphemy punishable by a fine of 25000 Euros. The site was published by the Irish Atheist who intend on challenging this in court when charged with blasphemy.

Wakie wake...you've seen, read and heard..the effects already why contradict with your statement...yeah but it does/will remove limb if the writer, poster, the maker of cartoons comes across those you point at..and disease is already there fear, psychosis...
The effect of that prophet you called in an inappropriate manner has is 1.5 billion Muslims like it or not they are going to stay here perhaps haunt many of you and that itself is an effects.

Freedom of speech is an American concept first introduced in the US Constitution in 1787. Many important American colonies would not ratify the new US Constitution unless certain rights of "the people" were guaranteed by constitutional law. Included was the right to speak freely. This right has been limited by libel, slander, conspiracy and incitement laws to some extent. But never, so far, by an ethnic or religious or political grievance. That day may come. However, for now, the absolute "freedom of speech" protection for statements such as "Holocaust denial" exists only in States that constitutionally protect all political speech. Europe does not. Europe is hypocritical in banning Holocaust denial while permitting the belittling and mocking of core Muslim beliefs.
