Altaf Hussain directs all MQM workers to submit their resignations

KARACHI: Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain has directed all MQM parliamentarians to submit their resignations to the party’s deputy convener Nadeem Nusrat, Express News reported on Wednesday.

There are 24 MQM MNAs and 7 Senators in Parliament.

“I give all assemblies one week to improve their functioning, the MQM chief said, adding that the Parliament is “full of drama”.

Earlier during the day, it was reported that the MQM chief was upset with “irresponsible” party leaders as well as the ongoing political crisis, and he said that he will request his supporters to relieve him of party leadership, a press statement on MQM website said.

For this purpose, Altaf has summoned all party members and sector incharges for a session at the Lal Qila ground in Karachi. The meeting is scheduled for 6pm today.

According to the press statement, the party chief is unhappy with the irresponsible and selfish behaviour of MQM’s top leadership.

In his brief announcement, Altaf also stated that the country was in a sensitive state which saddens him immensely.

Altaf announces to disband Karachi Tanzeemi Committee next week

KARACHI: Expressing his anger over the alleged involvement of his party’s office bearers in unscrupulous activities, Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain Thursday announced to scrap Karachi Tanzeemi Committee by next week.

“The office bearers take kickbacks of hundreds of thousands of rupees for providing employment,” the indignant MQM Chief said while addressing the party workers in Karachi via telephone from London.

He warned the members of MQM Rabitta Committee and its International Secretariat to mend their ways within one week’s time, saying discipline has been the pride of his party.

He said not just that, they also take money from Khidmat-e-Khalq Foundation (KKF) – the welfare wing of MQM.

During the live coverage of the speech, the workers told Altaf Hussain that the office bearers had become addicted to air-conditioned cars and that there are some black sheep in the party.

Altaf Hussain said the country has been made a mockery of. “The economy is ruined and there is no electricity and employment for people”.

He asked Pakistan’s ‘army and civilians’ to let him visit the country for fifteen days and he will bring about the much needed change in the country.

Surprisingly, for the first time, the workers told the MQM chief to come back. They said Pakistan will protect him.

He said he can no longer carry the burden of the party and now he seeks to be relieved. He said the workers may find a new leader and form new committees. Altaf Hussain said he be allowed some time off so that he can regain fitness for the task.

“This can never happen,” the workers shouted with one voice.

The nation salutes their armed forces on the occasion of the Defence Day
The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) has said that the Armed Forces of Pakistan are a solid wall for defending and protecting the country and the nation sees their armed forces with pride. In a message on the occasion of the Defence Day on 6th September, Mr Hussain said that the armed forces have rendered inestimable sacrifices for defending the borders of the country and for a long time they have been valiantly fighting the enemies inside the country as well. Officers to the rank of general and brigadier have laid down their lives for the country. He said that besides fighting the enemies, the armed forces are busy in helping the people affected by floods and heavy rains. He said that the entire nation salutes the heads of the armed forces and all brave officers and men on the occasion of the Defence Day. The nation assures the armed forces that they are solidly behind them in defending the country.

Armed forces should make a policy of zero tolerance to flush out black sheep from their rank and file
The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has strongly condemned the attack by armed terrorists on a Pakistan Navy ship anchored in the sea near Karachi. He expressed his heartfelt condolences on the martyrdom of a naval officer in the attack and paid tribute to the officers and men of the Pakistan Navy who bravely repelled the terrorist attack.
Addressing the heads of the armed forces, Mr Hussain recalled that the terrorists who had attacked the GHQ, Kamra Airbase and the Mehran Base in Karachi had inside support as they could not plan such attacks without getting support and information from inside.
Mr Hussain said that a black sheep was sufficient to spoil the entire flock and hence many of such black sheep could cause destruction of entire institution. He urged on the heads of the armed forces to formulate a policy of zero tolerance to flush out these black sheep from their rank and file even if it demanded a big sacrifice.

Senior Politician Makhdoom Javed Hashmi Calls Altaf Hussain

The situation dictates that all religious and political parties should put aside their differences and fighting till the torrential rains and floods stop: Altaf Hussain
The founder and leader of MQM Mr. Altaf Hussain has said that some elements use the word ‘democracy’ to please western countries. He added that their style of politics, manners and attitude indicated that they were tyrants or dictators.
Mr. Hussain expressed these views while talking to senior politician and former member of the National Assembly Makhdoom Javed Hashmi on phone.
The two leaders inquired about each other’s health and expressed good feelings.
Talking to Mr. Hashmi Mr. Hussain said that he was one of the top politicians of Pakistan who had sacrificed all his life for democracy. He added that it was deplorable that opportunists had capture Pakistan in name of democracy and these people wanted to keep their control over Pakistan. He said that these people wanted to give the world impression that they loved democracy. He added that the fact was that they did not follow the basic norms of democracy.
Mr. Hussain told Mr. Hashmi that he considered him a sincere Pakistan and he and great respect for him.
“In your democratic struggled you suffered imprisonment, solitary confinement and torture. Your life is full of struggle. On behalf of my colleagues and me, I pay you tributes for your struggle for democracy, “ Mr. Hussain said.
“I have made appeals in my statement repeatedly that the country is passing through a difficult time. Pakistanis who have been affected by torrential rains and floods need your help. Floods have caused massive deaths and devastation. People are starving and struck by diseases. Victims have lost all their savings. They have rendered homeless because floods have swept their homes. We should put aside our engagements and help hapless victims of torrential rains and floods, “Mr. Hussain said.
“The situation dictates that all religious and political parties should put aside their differences and fighting till the torrential rains and floods stop. You have whole life for politics. It is not necessary that we should complete our mission now. Victims of natural disasters need our attention urgently. I have been trying after the Model Town and Islamabad tragic incidents to prevent such incidents in future. For this purpose I have been in regular contacts with the government and the opposition, “ Mr. Hussain said.
Mr. Javed Hashmi thanked Mr. Hussain for expressing these views. He said that he was grateful that he remembered him. He added that I gave statement in favour of you when you were arrested.
“People severely criticized me when I gave the statement. However, I said that I would support Mr. Hussain in his difficult. I would have done more if it was possible for me. I come from the middle class family. Our thinking is same. Pain you are feeling for the victims of the flood. I wish other politicians can display such compassion too. فوج اورعسکری اداروں نے جو جہادی گروپ بنائے وہی عناصر آج نہ صرف معصوم شہریوں کو ماررہے ہیں بلکہ مسلح افواج کے افسروں جوانوں کوماررہے ہیں اورمسلح افواج پر حملے کررہے ہیں
وقت کاتقاضہ ہے کہ مسلح افواج کے اندرموجود انتہاپسند عناصر کے خلاف بے رحمانہ کارروائی کی جائے

اسلحہ دیا،فسادکی ٹریننگ دی ، پناہ دی وہی عناصر آج نہ صرف ملک کے معصوم شہریوں کو ماررہے ہیں بلکہ وہی عناصر نیوی کے افسران اورجوانوں کوماررہے ہیں، وہی عناصر فضائیہ کے افسران اور جوانوں کوماررہے ہیں اوروہی عناصر فوج کے افسران اورجوانوں کو مار رہے ہیں۔انہوں نے کہاکہ پاک فوج کے صاحب ایمان افسران اورجوان تودہشت گردوں کے خلاف ضرب عضب کے نام سے جنگ لڑرہے ہیں اور اپنی جانیں دے رہے ہیں دوسری طرف مسلح افواج کے اداروں میں موجود انتہاپسند عناصر ان اداروں کودیمک کی طرح چاٹ رہے ہیں،انہی عناصر کی جانب سے کبھی جی ایچ کیو پر حملہ ہوا، کبھی فضائیہ کے کامرہ بیس پر حملہ ہوا، نیوی کے مہران بیس پر حملہ ہوا، آئی ایس آئی کے دفاتر اورمسلح افواج کے دیگر دفاتر پر حملہ کیاگیا، حال ہی میں نیوی کے ڈاکیارڈ پر بھی حملہ کیاگیا،ان کے حملوں کے نتیجے میں بڑی تعدادمیں افسران اور جوان شہیدہوچکے ہیں۔جناب الطا ف حسین نے آرمی، نیوی اورایئرفورس کے چیفس،آئی ایس آئی سمیت تمام عسکری اداروں کے سربراہان، سول اورملٹری بیوروکریسی اوراسٹیبلشمنٹ کے تمام اعلیٰ حکام کومخاطب کرتے ہوئے کہاکہ یہ وقت کاتقاضہ ہے کہ اب قانون نافذ کرنے میں بھیجاجائے اورچیک کیاجائے کہ وہاں کیاتعلیم دی جاتی ہے اور کیسے تعلیم دی جاتی ہے اور ایسے تمام مدر سے جہاں نوجوانوں کی برین واشنگ کرکے انہیں دہشت گرد ی کی ترغیب دی جاتی ہے ان سے آہنی ہاتھوں سے نمٹاجائے اورکسی کے ساتھ کوئی رعایت نہ کی جائے۔جناب الطاف حسین نے کہاکہ عوام اچھی طرح جانتے ہیں کہ کراچی میں فرقہ وارانہ قتل وغارتگری میں کونسی کالعدم تنظیموں کے عناصر ملوث ہیں لیکن یہ امرانتہائی کہ اگرایم کیوایم کا کوئی ایک کارکن یا رہنما ان جرائم میں ملوث ہو اوراسکے بار ے میں آئی ایس آئی، ایم آئی ، آئی بی یاکسی بھی ایجنسی کے پاس ناقابل تردیدٹھوس ثبوت وشواہد موجود ہوں تو ایم کیوایم کے اس فرد کو کراچی ، لاہور یا ملک کے کسی بھی حصہ میں چوک پر سرعام پھانسی دیدی جائے اوراس کی لاش کودفنانے کے بجائے نشان عبرت بنادیا جائے اور اگر یہ الزامات ثابت نہ ہوں تو الزام لگانے والوں کولٹکایاجائے۔جناب الطاف حسین نے کہاکہ میری پوری زندگی شیعہ سنی بھائی چارے اور اتحاد بین المسلمین کیلئے گزرگئی، میں جب پاکستان میں تھاتواپنی جان ہتھیلی پر رکھ کرشیعہ سنی تصادم رکوانے کیلئے میدان میں اترجاتا تھا اور کئی سالوں سے جلاوطنی میں رہتے ہوئے بھی فرقہ وارانہ ہم آہنگی اور اتحادبین المسلمین کیلئے رات دن کوشاں ہوں مگرمجھے یہ جان کر بہت افسوس ہواہے کہ آج بھی یہ متعصب لوگ ایم کیوایم کے خلاف سازشیں کررہے ہیں اور اس پر فرقہ وارانہ قتل وغارتگری کے شرمناک الزامات لگارہے ہیں۔جناب الطاف حسین نے کہاکہ جب شیعہ سنی علماء کو اچھی طرح معلوم ہے کہ کونسی کالعدم تنظیموں کے لوگ فرقہ وارانہ قتل کرر ہے ہیں اورکن کن مدرسوں میں کیسی کیسی تعلیم دی جارہی ہے تو کیا سرکاری ایجنسیوں کواس بات کاعلم نہیں ہے؟ اس کے باوجود ایم کیو ایم پر بیہودہ الزامات لگائے جارہے ہیں اوراس طرح اصل مجرموں کو بچانے کی کوشش کی جاتی ہے ۔جناب الطاف حسین نے کہاکہ الزامات لگانے والے اورپروپیگنڈے کرنے والے اگرمردکے بچے ہیں توان الزامات کے ناقابل تردید ٹھوس ثبوت پیش کریں ورنہ یہ بیہودہ اورجھوٹے الزامات لگانااور پروپیگنڈے کرنا بندکردیں۔ انہوں نے کہاکہ اگرمعصوم لوگوں کے خلاف بہتان تراشی کایہ عمل بندنہیں کیاجائے گا تو جو عناصر یہ شرمناک عمل کررہے ہیں ان پر اللہ تعالیٰ کاعذاب ناز ل ہوگا۔ جناب الطاف حسین نے کہاکہ شیعہ اورسنی علماء ان شرمناک پروپیگنڈوں میں ہرگز نہ آئیں اوراس بات کوسمجھیں کہ واحدایم کیوایم ہے جوشیعہ سنی بھائی چارے اوراتحادبین المسلمین کیلئے کوششیں کررہی ہے ،اگراس پر ہی شرمناک الزامات لگا کر اسے بدنام کیا جائے گا، سازشیں کرکے اسے کمزورکیاجائے گا تو پھر کیارہ جائے گا اوراس قتل وغارتگری کے خلاف آوازاٹھانے والاکون ہوگا؟ جناب الطاف حسین نے علامہ عباس کمیلی کے صاحبزادے علی اکبرکمیلی کی شہادت پران کے تمام اہل خانہ سے دلی تعزیت کی اوردعاکی کہ اللہ تعالیٰ علی اکبر کمیلی شہید کوجنت الفردوس میں جگہ دے، تمام لواحقین کوصبرجمیل عطاکرے اور پاکستان کو سازشوں سے محفوظ رکھے۔
