Sindh Rangers unofficial goal is to destroy MQM. It has had that purpose since it got a bloody nose in Karachi by MQM. In return, Sindh Rangers have taken every opportunity to hurt MQM in any way possible. And after witnessing how Rangers work in Karachi, I'd say I trust them very little even though I have no personal enmity with them. One can understand then how MQM feels about Rangers.

It's useless to try and explain this here. I know because I have tried it many times. People want simple answers here so they blame MQM for everything wrong with Karachi. They don't know why MQM came in to existence. Most even think Zia made MQM. They don't know or refuse to accept the way Karachi has been treated since Ayub Khan's rule, or the language riots. Ask them about the language riots, I guarantee 99% of them will know nothing. Ask them about racist quota system, they will know nothing. Sorry to sound harsh but if people are happy in their ignorance, there is nothing you or me can do to change their perception.

Sindhis were living in Karachi well before 47, not all of them were brought from "interior sindh". Karachi was always a part of Sindh, and not Bihar. You guys talk as if Sindhis are some sort of foreigners in their own ethnic homeland.

If you are going to equate FATA with Karachi then this debate is useless, you must understand how people of FATA, Baluchistan or interior Sindh have been deprived of very basic rights and their life style in no way can be compared with that of Karachi.

Yes Agreed Sindhis had been living before Partition and were Majority even but most of them were Hindus and Migrated to India and those who left in Karachi are very well integrated within population but most of the Govt. people(Provincial Govt.) came from Interior Sindh and even those Urbanized Sindhi felt the same way about them as normal Karachiite...Their is no Problem of having people from Interior Sindh in Govt. departments but when Bribing and Corrupt working Culture is promoted that becomes Problem so the real Question become the QUALITY of Officer that are Brought from Interior Sindh to Govt. Departments in Karachi. If PPP had brought Educated and Decent people from Interior Sindh no one would mind instead Support them as much as we could but when corrupt and Rotten lots from Interior Sindh are Brought to Karachi on the Basis of Paying huge sum of money that becomes a Problem here....

Like many Sindhis who didnt left Karachi after Partition got integrated in Karachi Society their are Punjabis, Pashtuns, Hazaras, Baloch and even Gilgities have also integrated within Karachi Society because unlike rest of Pakistan Karachi has Thriving Pluralist society not Nationalist drive by Common Goal of Karachi Prosperity and development not by Linguistic, Religious or regional Biases which is Unique to Karachi only and rare in rest of Pakistan.....

Money is a motive behind everything in Pakistan and lot of Innocent people do horrible things for Money not just one MQM or PTI but we have to give weight to other aspect as well like system they work on and environment they work on and I dont think others are good enough to manage themselves in such Hazards in which they had been dealing with since 30 years....If they are not around then those who would replace them would create so much mess that you would start liking them and that is what I have been through....

If Govt. Doesnt care about people then they should be FORCED to care either by Badmashi or by other means....MQM's intentions have elements of self Interest as well as Element of Karachiite interest simultaneously but People Overlooked Karachiite Interest and just Focus on MQM's Self Interest that is why Badmashi becomes a their weapon....
