Many don't care, they can be if they want to. I, for one, would also let Russia take Transnistria if we get our population out. Both regions are worthless anyway... the problem lies in Moldova itself, they have real economic troubles..

But yes, to answer your question, probably they would hold an "referendum" and unite with Russia or something.

The most funny part of "hungarian history",that's why people don't take it serious.So,basically,according to them ,when the Hungarians atop of their ponies came to Transilvania in the 9th century,they found the place empty.A rich,fertile land in Europe,9th century AD basically EMPTY.Totally makes sense..

It doesn't say ti was completely empty you need to read it again. The year it's talking about is 271 AD, not 9th century as you would like people to believe. and even then if you look closely it's talking about the times of Attila and the Huns empire that's going farther back in history, and that's Hungarian not Romanian.

Besides a few scattered ruins of Roman fortifications, destroyed by the retreating Roman legions in 271 A.D., no sign of any kind would indicate a trace of an older established culture preceding the arrival of the Hungarians. Not even the legends, folk tales, ballads or folk songs of any one of the cohabiting ethnic groups suggest anything of this kind, except the oldest Hungarian (Székely) legends which date back to the time of Attila and the empire of the Huns.
