Anti-Muslim hate crimes are not just encouraged but also rewarded by those in power. According to a report on hate crimes released by Fact Checker, 76 percent of victims of hate crimes in India over the past 10 years have been Muslims. Ninety percent of these attacks have occurred since Prime Minister Narendra Modi was voted into power in 2014.

In 2002, thousands of Muslims were massacred by the Hindus in Gujarat (the culprits were let go – and one of the prime culprit was elected the Prime Minister - Modi).

In 1992, the Hindu mob razed down a 16-century old historical Babri Masjid in Ayodhya as well as slaughtering thousands of Muslims (many of them were the members of the current-ruling Hindu-extremist BJP party).

In 1993, thousands of Muslims were again massacred by Hindus in Mumbai.

In 1984, 15000 Sikhs were massacred by a Hindu mob after the assassination of former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.

In 1980s, the Indian Army massacred thousands of Sikhs inside their holy town of Amritsar.

In 2008, hundreds of Christians were burned alive, raped and rendered homeless in their own homes by the Hindu mob, at least 300 Churches were burned down to ashes by Hindus.

One Indian Muslim was explaining to me the situation during one of riots in Bombay. They were stuck inside their ghettos and the Hindu mobs were closing in via wholesale killing, raping, maiming, burning etc. Even BBC could intercept the communication b/w police and the raging murdering mob!!! They were supporting one another!!! The police officer was in fact encouraging to finish the job fast!! It was only a matter of hours before they would have got overrun. The biggest haplesesness was regarding the women folks. Suddenly, a number of bomb blasts at the Bombay Stock Exchange took place!!! And, the riot stopped....

I have seen many guys on Pakistan TV cursing their grand fathers for migrating to Pakistan. They abuse their fore fathers like anything for their biggest mistake. One Pakistani shayar has written " Dhadhakte registano ke khatir, mahekte gulistan chood aye". This one sentence describe what migrant form India think about India and Pakistan.
