Military strikes against Assad's Syria | Updates & Discussions.

Western hypocrispy

Over 150,000 Syrians killed, tortured and raped for three years, no reaction.

1,700 killed by chemical attack in a day, reacted.

:cuckoo:

Let's not talk about Arab or Muslim hypocrisy, it's a lot worse.

There was a conventional civil war which one side has turned unconventional. This is why there is now a reaction.

How do you feel about the inevitable collapse of Iran? once Syria goes and your Hez is dealt with?

I'm really looking forward to it.

There will be no collapse of Iran.

Iran is standing tall and strong.

Iran is the most stable country in the region.

Everything is going smoothly and as planned.

Even if they bomb Syria, Syria is not going to collapse, they are not going to change the government.

Actually this works in favor of Iran.

It means stronger alliance of Iran-Syria in the future. More military cooperation and closer ties.

LMFAO look who's talking, a Saudi whose worthless dictators can not do SH!T without their Western mofo masters. You're such a worthless country that couldn't defend itself against Saddam and begged US to come and handle the issue for you cowards

No, Syria doesn't need anyone at first place, because US doesn't have the guts to start a real war there, just a minor military operation which rebels themselves has stated that it won't really change anything.

BTW, go tell your masters in Riadh and Tel Aviv not to do anything stupid, or else we will intervene as well. :coffee:

We see that the sunnis countries are again with the JEW USA to kill arabs. Don't say that it's Iran who is making problems.

As if the JEW USA who make Iraq war, Libya, Palestina oppression, Syria war by proxy ever care for freedom.

They give Saddam chemical weapons to gaz people, they use massively depleted uranium, cluster bombs in civilian areas in Iraq, Libya, and now they speak as if they are good guys.

They make drone attacks that kill 80% of civilians, but when they do it's freedom. Only other people are terrorists.

White House rules out 'regime change' among options for Syria
WASHINGTON | Tue Aug 27, 2013 2:06pm EDT

(Reuters) - The White House ruled out any military effort to oust Syrian President Bashar al-Assad from power on Tuesday as President Barack Obama ponders options in response to last week's chemical weapons attack in Syria.

"The options that we are considering are not about regime change," said White House spokesman Jay Carney. "They are about responding to a clear violation of an international standard that prohibits the use of chemical weapons."

Obama is considering cruise missile strikes against Syrian targets in response to the August 21 chemical weapons attack that U.S. officials are increasingly confident was launched by the Syrian government.

Carney said the United States expects to release in coming days a public version of a formal report by the U.S. intelligence community on the use of chemical weapons. The report is expected to conclude the Syrian government was responsible for the attack.

Any attempt at "regime change" by the United States would draw the United States deeply into a conflict that Obama has been determined to avoid. The president has already ruled out putting U.S. troops on the ground in Syria.

The United States wants Assad to leave power, but as part of a negotiated political settlement with the Syrian rebels.

Carney said the United States has a variety of options from which to use, not just military options. Most of the talk about Syria in recent days, however, has been about a limited cruise missile attack.

Carney reiterated that Obama had not made a decision on how the United States will respond to what it believes was an attack on civilians by the Syrian government.

"When the president has an announcement to make, he'll make it," Carney said.

I think Russia needs to move its military assets near Syria as a response.

Better get those S-300s and Kuznetsov carrier to the Mediterranean ASAP.

India has also officially stated that we are against an external intervention as it is an internal problem of Syria which the Syrian government and people can only solve.

No one knows who used the chemical weapons and NATO has already started beating the war drums.

This is ridiculous.

@Takaavar the only way they can cause the complete collapse of Syria is

A) Send troops

B) Use a nuclear bomb on Damascus

Both highly unlikely.

The American government's assessment is based on the circumstantial evidence from videos posted on the internet, and, as CBS News correspondent David Martin reported Tuesday, intelligence -- much of it still classified --ranging from intercepted Syrian communications to tests of tissue samples taken from victims.

is there any proof that syria did it.as far as logic tell he has no advantage in using chemical weapons when rebels are loosing ground.

i heard Russia is threatening to attack Saudia Arabia if syria is attacked By US?
can anyone confirm it?

There's something really 'Fishy' going on here... I reckon they are doing a 'Saddam' on him...

Even a thug like Assad wouldn't be stupid enough to use chemicals in bombs when the UN inspectors are present...

Post made me laugh, are you saying Syria can beat US or UK? Your government is not going to last a week after the attack.

Look who fled last night :omghaha:
