As recently Chinese have refused to sell FC20 over liscence issue. A Customised version of MIG-35 i believe is a much better option for Pakistan.
It is more capable on a lower Price and better Armaments. MIG-35 can be procured in about 30m dollar a piece if acquired upto 50 in numbers and with customized avionics.
while FC20 will be available in 46m dollar.
And Mikoyan is already in financial troubles and desperately needs to secure a foreign order.
We should procure upto 80 MIG-35 to counter indian Su30-MKI threat.

1-Dont spoil the thread by discussing "Budget Constraints" here. Economy is recovering. And we have to procure new platform even if we need to allocate funds by cutting back from some other sectors .Whatever budget related stuff comes to mind please dont discuss here. So if you believe that defence is not necessary please dont spoil the thread.
2-Buying Russian tech is possible. Dont take in Indian Pressure here. India is in no position to threaten Russia not to sale its arms to Pakistan because
a-Russian Mikoyan Gurevich is in dire financial troubles,Either india itself buys significant systems from it or let it sale
b-It is india that is dependent on russia not the other way around. India is in no position to cancel a 5th gen program on the basis of PAF acquiring a 4.5 gen platform. This point should not be discussed here either
3-"Russian Junk" and other useless trolls plz dont waste your time here
