Good stuff but despite people dying in Karachi and there being predictions for MORE of such tragedy...NS still doesnt find investing in electricity and water a necessity is EXTREMELY shocking and insensitive!

Jitna metro par attention day jari hai utni electricity par day ta we wouldnt have Karachi crisis or severe load shedding!

This is part of the cpec and the govt has invested in electricity projects which take time to be functional hopefully if everything goes to plan we will be loadshedding free by 2017. Infrastructure is equally important in development. However the govt shoulf have increased loadshedding by atleast 30 mins in the rest of the country and provide that electricity to karachi. Follow canada where if one province is left behind in development the budget of others is reduced and given to the backward province to make it equal

I am in no way saying it is not important...I am talking about priorities....

Look even if they made metro in Isb...due to load shedding people filled Centaurus for AC in bus and in mall....

So even if they fix infrastructure it will break because the core isnt being addressed AT ALL! which is education AND BASIC NEEDS - food, water, shelter (which in todays world is with electricity)

True but if MOST of every province except large posh areas are ALSO suffering around as much as Karachi....You wanna increase another 30 mins is unfair!


I mean if every province EXCEPT Sindh was getting 24/7 electricity that would be possible but not in current condition...I am just wondering wth is metro train gonna run on coal?

People are Dying in Karachi Because of? PPP + Karachi Electric is owned by Sister or Zardari Fariyal Taalpur they don't give a damn to People except for themselves....

this Project are from Provincial Government not by Federal

They are also focusing on Electricity and it will take time Chinese are working Design and other stuff of Coal Power Plant has be finalized work soon to start Bahawalpur Solar Power Plant Chinese signed for work of remaining 900 MW + Many Plants are being converted into LNG based power plants...


NO matter how much we all shout no matter what we will do you will see they will reduce most Extent of Load shedding and plant will be working on near to Elections which is in 2018..... Vote bhi to lene hain and in 2018 when there will be minimum load shedding and plants will be complete people will vote for them Automatically this is what PML N is doing

Why is Neelum Jhelum project cost increased again. How many delays has it been through and now that is nearly done why are they waiting for privatising it. have the 35 rupees charged on every meter not been enough to make things okay and how many years have they worked on this.

PPP har cheez to Federal pe dal deti hai khud kr kya rhi hai Karachi City se Town bnta ja rha hai no good roads no sanitation no waste management no Electricity no Water
Even KE is getting 650 MW from Punjab causing More load shedding in Punjab and KPK

that same Tinda is working on Provincial Level and + these Metro will be build by Chinese Assistance.... As Loan and will work on BOT

that Metro Station got Flooded Because NLC still did'n completed their Sewerage work in Rawalpindi they still are working there + there is under pass near Centaurus Islamabad which is Connecting F-8 Service road with G-8 Service road... Even that road isn't completed and Even Faizabad Road is under construction still work is going on

Buying Cheap Electricity from WAPDA and selling it on higher prices and obviously KE will be in profit how many new Power Plants they made to increase the capacity ?

making small Hydro plants which produce 10 12 4 7 MW is easy then build whole power plant like coal or solar

Where was the Government before people died. I do not get you, the federal government controls the distribution of power to provinces, and it should have foreseen the situation at hand. There are private power plants with Engro which KEL has agreeed to buy power from when it gets ready as well as other smaller projects, with Nuclear energy also joining the mix when available.

Honestly speaking right now EASY is what we need....Power pronto or ALL our businesses which RELY on power will close up and people will die thanks to heatwaves ....and lets not forget the chopping down of trees all over Pakistan to make way for metro to boil Pakistan further up!

So they opened the station let it flood as a I dont know example of their incompetence?

OMG...isnt sewage supposed to be MADE BEFORE you put a WHOLE STATION on a road? Only in Pakistan do you create something then dig it up and fix the sewage

Why blame NLC? WASNT SS's face all over the metro banners which were also bought with OUT tax money? So why is it for creadit tinda ka moun agay but when its time to get lanat apni garden unnder ker kay blame others?
