I found this survey quite biased, Like no updated data for Karachi. no inclusion of Lahore which is among 30 most populated cities and also they didn't include Islamabad.

True, Karachi has 18 Towns and many towns of Karachi has a population equal to Perth and Adelaide or more populated. Gulshan Town, Clifton, Jauhar, PECHS, DHA all has a population of almost one million each. Equal to Adelaide or Perth, Australia. Orangi has a population touching 2 million.

Also sweeping the whole city of 20 million plus under the same radar is not right as there are good, average and poor areas in Karachi, like for people living in DHA, Clifton, Bath Island, KDA 1, Lalazar and many good localities, Karachi might be the most liveable city, with all the mentioned facilities, but for people living in Orangi and Korangi and some other areas, Karachi might be least liveable. If you look at the 18 towns of Karachi, many are better planned by KDA and in grids and symmetry, unlike what you see in Dacca and Mumbai.

I agree with Lahore and Islamabad comments, they are missing here, Islamabad will rank very high in the list...

You must be effing dumb if you are telling me Mumbai is better than Jakarta to Live . Mumbai is one of the most polluted cities in the world , was voted the dirtiest city in the world , has slums that put Somalia and Chad to shame and you are comparing that city to Jakarta ? what's next better than Kuala lumpur and Singapore ? .

Here is Jakarta though .

Unlike Mumbai where 95 % of the city is just not suitable to live .

He can come up with many pictures of highrise buildings in Mumbai, south of Mumbai is good, also Navi Mumbai is better, but that is a small part of it, in terms of population.

Also have witnessed most of the aerial shots of Mumbai at evening looks good, as on the ground slums, broken roads, pot holed roads, open sewers are not visible in pictures of highrises of Mumbai from air, also slums are not visible at night shots...taken from a particular angle and with right composition.

One reason most of the pictures shown here and elsewhere are aerial shots, and of evening shots with lights...ground reality is different with 62% of Mumbai population living in Slums.

Many threads which proclaims Mumbai GDP is ahead of Pakistan??? All over internet, which is an internet hoax actually.

Also speaking of growth rate about the above chart...hope you know the difference between growth rate which shows close to 8% for Indian cities and actual growth achieved so far, the maturity achieved by say Tokyo, LA or London.

Tolyo city GDP at 2.00 trillion USD is almost close to 2.45 trillion USD for India, the whole country with 1.35 billion population. So mature economies tend to have lower growth rates.
