libya was wholly sunni, yet the invasion by nato/taliban/ikhwaan/qaeda etc

saddam hussain was sunni, as was much of the iraqi military.

I have been following Syrian resistance for quite a while and have an idea about the reality of Syrian Civil war. That comment was made in sync with the perception of ongoing struggle. Although I still think Pakistan has zero chance of helping Assad against FSA/IS and Sect plays a role there.
