Marathi-Hindi Row Turns Ugly in Mumbai, Hawkers Thrash MNS Workers

They are just tapping into xenophobia to corner a larger vote share.

Reality is that migrants take up jobs that the locals do not want to do. Like selling street side goods and drive auto rickshaws.

Much like the mexicans in the US who end up cutting grass and fixing roofs.
Nope. The problem is not in the quality of jobs, it is in the minimum acceptable wages that go down every time a Bihari or a Mexican shows up.
As hardworking as the UP/Biharis are, they have seen abject poverty and are tolerant of a really bad standard of living, which drives them to accept wages that most other people consider too low to ensure an acceptable standard of life.
An employer will chose a Bihari/Mexican as it is more profitable. This drives unemployment rates for the locals and results in a xenophobic situation such as what we have in Mumbai

And yet the BMC run by the Shiv Sena and MNS for decades have not made migrant registration mandatory.

Why is that ? :coffee:

In any case, the work ethics of a bihari or UP bhaiya is FAR better than the work ethics of a average Maharashtrian. (in honesty index, the marathi is only marginally better)

THIS is the real reason they get preference over marathi manoos. Now can you handle this reality ?

We're just having fun on the internet.
We do this on an even lighter note face to face.
It's a leisure we can afford since we didn't run a tank over our cultures.
OK.... talking about another ethnic group bashing up another isn't exactly funny to me tho.

OK, so a Keralite and Punjabi are the same?

Errr .... yes we are. :cheesy:

Especially compared to the genetic diversity between rest of the world.

As you can see, even a Uyghur chinese has more genetic commonality with an Indian than a chinese.

In fact even among our language diversity, both our language has a common root in Sanskrit.

Sanskrit is not even from India, it is an Aryan language which came from Central Asia/Eurasia. The original language of India is Dravidian based, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, etc. Hinduism is not even from India, it shares alot of similarities with proto-Iranian and Middle Eastern religions, especially the worship of cattle.

Fact check: India wasn't the first place Sanskrit was recorded – it was Syria

Yes, they are the SAME people you fool

Gentics PROVES it without ANY Doubt. Genetics give us CONCLUSIVE evidence that they are the same people.

Its only bigots who like Hitler and little chinese men who have difficulties in accepting reality. Too bad the real world works against your pathetic chinese propaganda. Attempting to judge people by the color of their skin.

Skin color pigmentation is a reaction to the exposure to the sun. The more exposed you get to the sun , the darker you get. People who spend their lives in climate where there is little sun due to clouding or due to mountains or indoors (rich) have lighter skin than people who work in the sun all day long.

LOL at your assumption that Sanskrit was Syrian.

Can you name ONE Sanskrit book in Syrian ? ALL Sanskrit books are from India.

ALL rivers mentioned in the Vedas are in India

ALL mountains mentioned in the Vedas are in India. :cheesy:

Not a SINGLE geography of syria is described in the Vedas, why is that ? LOL.

Well, don't argue with me, argue with scroll.in. =). Btw, I am a 6 foot tall North Chinese, taller than your average South Indian. :D

Hinduism was created to control Dravidians like you. The offsprings of the invaders with the local women, the Brahmins became your lords. Do you understand? Han Chinese do the same thing with Thai/Viet tribes in South China. We came as soldiers, artisans and colonizers, we married with the locals to produce South Chinese,we push the Vietnamnese and Thais south into SEA and these people in return invaded and mingled with your cousins the Austroloids. Another relative of the Han tribe, the Mongols, invaded Europe and Central Asia, giving rise to the Khan surname and the Mughals.

Kerala is the last place you should generalise about the gene pool. It has genes from almost everywhere.

The culture and language are arya-dravidian.

Excavations show artefacts similar to the ones found in the Indus Valley.

Point is, don't apply Chinese logic in India. You'll always see jaundice yellow.

It was a Malayalee called Adi Shankara who revived Hinduism in India after the advent of Buddha's teaching. So in all modern telling , a Malayalee dravidian is the modern day FATHER of Hinduism in India.

Every practicing Hindu knows this. LOL at your propaganda. They have a better chance of success with an ignorant pakistani than with any authentic Hindu from India.

Adi Sankara was a brahmin, hence it doesnt negate the fact that he invented sanmata was invented to control the dravidians by appropriating native Dravidianism into Vedic Brahmanism

LOL.... do you even know that the term "Dravidian" was INVENTED by Adi Sankara ?

It was Adi Sankara who described HIMSELF as "Dravida Sishu" i.e. Child of a land where the three oceans meet.

It is the first recorded instance of the word Dravida. and Ironically, its in SANSKRIT

So if he described Himself as a "dravidian" then who was he trying to "control" ? :cheesy:

It's unadulterated BS that Indians are one race and ethnicity.

Right wing revisionist butthurt Hindutva bs for the most part.

Cheers, Doc

Absolute nonsense to call Indians one ethnicity.
Absolute nonsense to think these ethnicities can be completely separated by geography.
The kind of figures that Han is providing only gives the general picture.
