I think it needs to be put down... I heard these type of animals develop a taste for human meat.

The tiger is not at fault here. Moreover it is caged. It would have been put down/captured if it was in the wild.

To learn that, you might want to jump into a Tiger's enclosure and find yourself at inches distance from a Tiger. Come one man, he was just a simpleton, not a well-trained soldier or a commando.

He must have watched NatGeo/National Geographic/Animal Planet etc. because of his interest in the animal and would have come across the advise. Anyway, praying in front of a instinctual wild animal is ..... well, useless!

You seem to think that being a human, he some how deserves more respect than a Tiger. I disagree. Its bad enough that humans captured a Tiger and put him in a cage. Worse still the Tiger can't find peace in his own den due to some curious disrespectful fool.
