For everyone, there is no shia, sunni, hanafi, shafia or anything else in The Quran Allah clearly states the chosen religion as Islam and the followers to call themselves Muslims anything beyond that even sunni should be termed as biddah and addition and innovation in Islam as no where in Hadiths or Quran has Allah and His Prophet used the term sunni. This world sunni is derived from the word sunnah long after important scholars like imam hanbali, shafi, hanafi died, even they did not preach to call oneself xyz or segregate oneself. Kindly everyone should call themselves only Muslims and start it by educating their own families in home as I did one should not ruin their Akirah only to be told on that day dude you too are part of 72 sects .

Ali Yasin? Whats that? If you mean Yaseen...then you are misinformed! I read Yasin in Masjid-ul-Haram as well as the Prophet's masjid in Madina...My whole family has done it... No one forbid us...In fact they provide books of surah Yasin , Quran in the masjids!
