I think the Saudis have done the right thing. One shouldn't have the right to disrespect any other at any holy place.
The person may have committed criminal acts but protesting inside the holy shrine is disrespectful to both the prophet and the religion.
Protest should be peacefully made at the right forum and with proper justification.
