Here is the original article from where you have conviniently cherry picked.

SJIR: The Fate of Kashmir : International Law or Lawlessness?

The Fate of Kashmir
International Law or Lawlessness?
BY VIKAS KAPUR AND VIPIN NARANG

Cherry picked ?? really ?

Now isn't that cute, prerequsite - clearly states it is pakistan who has to remove it's milita and armed forces, ball has been in you court since the signing of the resolution....

Do you agree to reduce your troops to 18,000 ??

was an act of terrorism
that's a first.... good progress!

lead by example then and move your troops away from the borders - Pak would return the gesture
So you can repeat 65 or kargil?... read the resolution, the pre-requisites will make it crystal clear, who needs to move what.

3 regions where illiteracy is very high...in the case of FATA and Balochistan, geography (i.e. the remoteness of many of the areas) hinders things further

incidentally - scores of Baloch reside in Karachi/Sindh and they participated and are politically active. Same applies with Pakhtuns.

in the case of FATA - almost every family of every tribe have direct connections to KPK (DI Khan, Kohat, Peshawar Charsadda etc.) and in all those localities there were polling stations.....those who chose to vote had the right to do so - and they werent held between a rock and a hard place the way Kashmiris are every single day of the year.

a siege since '48

illetracy causes low voter turnout... good god, what is the litracy rates in low voter turnout in valley region?

Hah! It isn't Pakistani forces butchering/raping Kashmiris

you accuse Pakistan of supporting "non state actors".....how about the militias india is supporting?
what did your militia do in 1947 by the invite of your esteemed leaders?

And which militia's do India support, as your context is in present tense? When insas and tavors start showing up in your region point your fingers at us.

Do you agree to reduce your troops to 18,000 ??
We did untill, you decided to invade akhnoor in 1965... which I suppose in your esteemed opinion was to uphold the UNSC resolutions right.... cutting out the the chimichanga bullcrap might help now...we all know what pakistan's intent is here.

The International Commission of Jurists (ICJ), based in Geneva, passed a resolution in 1993 proclaiming Kashmir's accession to India as bogus and null and void.

The International Commission of Jurists (ICJ) is an international human rights non-governmental organization.

Perhaps next we can ask Amnesty international to pass a resolution on Kashmir.

O really ??? Then What stopped you from doing so till 1965 ?? You really think anyone would buy your nonsense ?? India was never willing to hold a plebiscite in Kashmir from day 1 ... And the whole world knows that ... Except the Indian cyber warriors of course !!

What is your point ??
ICJ is not "neutral" ....... ?? Or you believe that the whole world is wrong when it says "kashmir is a disputed territory" and not an "integral part of India" and that the Indian Armed Forces have been committing serious human right violations in Kashmir ??

So you assumed India would never hold plebiscite and that is why you tried to take it by force but failed. So what is you want now, you have already escalated the matter into a war...there is no going back.. any particular reason, why we should hold a plebiscite now?

Point is ICJ has no Locus Standi in the matter, who are they pass resolution on legality of accession of Kashmir?, They are not a court of law, but a human rights NGO.

If tomorrow Salaman Khan's being human NGO passes a resolution, stating that Pakistan is an illegal entity and should merge with India..would you abide by it?

We didn`t "assume" anything , the whole world knew it .... India tried to annex Kashmir illegally and this gave rise to all the tensions in the region and today one and a half billion people are living under constant threat of a nuclear war ... And You guys are responsible for it ...

They may not be a court of law , but the Commission itself is standing group of 60 eminent jurists (including senior judges, attorneys and academics) .. !! . Commissioners are known for their experience, knowledge and fundamental commitment to human rights. The composition of the Commission aims to reflect the geographical diversity of the world and its many legal systems. The point is , ICJ is "An international organization consisting of experts in the field of law and human rights" and it is "neutral" !!

And they are not the only one who say that "Kashmir is not an integral part of India" and "Indian Forces have been committing serious human right violations in Kashmir" ..... In fact the whole world knows this .... what is your point ?

And if the whole world says "Pakistan is an illegal entity" ... then it must be true ..... But No one except Indians would say such a stupid thing .... Indians are "unique" after all .....

man what has happened to comprehension these days... do yourself a favor an read the pre requisites...

Read my previous posts and try to understand what I am saying before quoting my posts ... can u ... ?
