What's new

Look at the firearms siezed today!

hahahaha -- comments here are hilarious ----
@Horus @Zarvan @RAMPAGE @Ammara Chaudhry @Talwar e Pakistan @Jango & others the the holographic sights are chinese knock offs, easily procureable from the local market --- nothing sophisticated about it

The M4 in question is basically CQ-A (chinese M4 by Norinco) this is Semi Auto, our market has been flooded with these since .223 / 5.56 was made NPB in 2013 to date --- one can buy this for 130k on NPB license (as per Rawalpindi market)

The ones in Tan color again are chinese .223 called Type 97 - a civilian version of QBZ 95
this is bulpup and again is Semi Auto --

these are available in market for 200K

most probably this was a shipment being smuggled out to Terrorists as Licenses are not being issued by Govt. so Dealers got to make their living one or another way

1st one is AK-74M and not AK-100 , AK-100s are rare while 74Ms are common

M4A1 is an obvious one

if you can get a clear photo of the other 2 , I can ID them
last one is Saiga - .223 or 5.45 as both are in the market these days

Edit: going by the trend and amount 5.56 nato rounds in market and in Afghanistan - my guess its .223

Heavy weapons and ammunition were seized today at Peshawar after soldiers raided suspected militants. From the looks of it - it is unlikely these are clones, nearly all TTP infrastructure has been destroyed and the remaining weapon factories are not capable of producing something like this.

I figured out the yellow one

its a QBZ-97B
if you look at the barrel and overall sights and other parts its a perfect match

Yes

around 29,000 NATO containers bound for Afghanistan have gone missing in Pakistan.
Senator Ilyas Bilour of Awami National Party (ANP), who alleged that the National Logistics Cell was the main culprit. He further alleged that the trucks loaded at Port Qasim had been sold at Jodia Bazaar, Karachi.

unfortunately US says otherwise

so bug out of this thread :)

All these went "missing" when the the US was using Pakistan to truck weapons to Afghanistan. Billions were stolen by the Pakistan army and their favorite creatures. Hundred of trucks full to the brim with all sorts weapons were "liberated" by hijacking these trucks on Pakistani roads and shared out with outfits that were in "favour" with GCHQ. GCHQ also took its cut.
It took the US 2 years to realize they were being systematically milked by GCHQ and the very forces they were fighting in Afghanistan.

And queue the usual anti-Pakistan rubbish from the usual suspects:

These weapons are not used for terrorist activities. Their choice of weapon is AK-47.

The weapons recovered are for domestic sales. Shookeen loog. One of my friends has both these weapons. One Chinese copy of M-4 and the other is the export version of the Chinese army official assault rife, QBZ series.

Awesome weapons. I pity the weapons dealers who have suffered millions in loss.

Foreign funded arms, and the incompetent Afghan military, who sell their assault rifles for a quick buck or a few ounces of heroin.

These are brand new Chinese weapons & one may be Russian origin Ak series or a Chinese made AK-47. Its not original US M-4, its a Chinese copy known as CQ M 311 and the other is the QBZ-95.

These are brand new weapons for internal market usage.

They looks like M4 colt carbine used largely in Afghanistan war by Americans.

terrorist can get these guddies easily in tribal Area :(
Plz change the word CAN to COULD. These were seized from warehouses where they had been stored quite long ago for the sleeper cells and due to strict measures these guys were unable to shift them to desired locations. Infact they are from the looted NATO containers but cudnt reach the intended hands to use them.

My Take

From far side of the table

AK-74M - Most ex Soviet Bloc use these type of rifle, including Afghanistan
SA-80 (Green Camo version) the tigger guard give away.
FAMAS - Not too sure, but the mag well and the barrel looks like a FAMAS[Edit:: Not Likely FAMAS]
QBZ-97 - Quite sure it is QBZ-97 as the picture show two build in handle above mag well, only QBZ-97 and another Shotgun have a Build in handle like that. Plus QBZ-97 was used by Pakistani themselves.[Edit:: Confirm it is QBZ-97]
M4 - Duh...

A closer look on the last 3 weapons here

You are right. I think busted hideout belongs to some high profile arms dealer.

Was there any terrorist attack where M4 or Chinese clones of M4 with optics were used? Personally i haven't seen any, in all the incidents i saw ak variants were used.
