Lahore Mob Terrorism: Couple Killed over Blasphemy alligation

sir dont put all your eggs in one basket ...... misusing blasphemy laws is wrong as much as abusing the Quran and Prophet..but yeah you can say that the punishment should be given by govt only and after proper investigation .. but again .. the problem still lies .. why this kind of blasphemy cases rise ??? what the Christians in Pakistan have in their minds ?? why provoking the mob ?

Have you information on any incidence where the Prophet, Caliphs, or Sahaba punish anyone for insulting or humiliating Allah or Quran? These people take their own fire to hell. Why should we punish them? Leave them be and let them be, it is not like they can cause any harm to Islam by their acts......if they did actually ever commit those acts.

. .
I know in India no sane Muslim will antagonize the Hindus by disrespecting their gods or slaughter the cow in their presence.
I am sure the Christians of Pakistan also have the same concept of self preservation as any human being will

I pray that Allah Show NO Mercy to the Mobsters and senseless killers. Amen.

Even if they do, they won't be burned to death for sure, mostly a bailable offence registered that also depends on state to state.

RIP to the victims.

i am not in favor of death penalty for this .. just for some months in imprisonment ... there is no way any mullah regime to burn or kill anyone ,

the Indian example was a general mention, it could have been a South American Evangelical Christian town. or Ayudyah which saw destruction of the Babri Mosque and Hindu Zealots urinating on the rubble. .. exceptions are everywhere but my post was a point of reference in support of besieged and persecuted Christian community of Pakistan which lives in constant fear and bullying by police, Mullah and the other thugs.

Itne saal ho gaye aur trolling ki habit nahi gayi?

You my dear is an ignorant fool of the biggest fools. so clueless and so full of yourself that you failed to understand why I said that

my post was in support of the Pakistani Christians and the mention of India was because people can relate to it as being a neighbor and it was a general statement not specific. Had I mentioned Latvia or Macedonia or Botswana then people wont get the message.

likes of you go full auto and burn out yourself if you see anything unbecoming of your country being posted on the web.

YES, you have some exceptionally good examples vis a vis Pakistan but there are still some cases where the minorities face the wrath of the Hindu Zealots .. you are not Switzerland yet.
I am Talking Pakistani Christians and defending them that they WONT willingly antagonize the ignorant and barbarian crowd that has a habit of Lynching people in most horrible ways

This will not stop unless we hang a few of these fucking vigilante's
mobsters have committed brutal murder without verifying if the charge was true or not and even if it was giving the chance to the accused to defend themselves in court of law.

yes such mobsters must face capital punishments and their belongings given to the victim families.
then I will see how anyone in future wants to risk his life and money in the name of sham blasphemy which might not even have occurred

RIP the dead ones & the ones who are responsible for this need to be put behind bars for life.... Apologies to our Minorities ...

LAHORE: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday said the murderers of a Christian couple accused of blasphemy will be brought to justice.

“The brutal murder of the Christian couple in Kot Radha Krishan is an unacceptable crime,” the premier stated.

“A responsible state cannot tolerate mob rule and public lynching with impunity,” he added.

PM Nawaz has directed Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif to show no mercy and allow the law to take its course to punish those responsible.

“The Pakistani state has to act proactively to protect its minorities from violence and injustice. We must promote religious and ethnic diversity in our society as a virtue,” the PM further said.

Earlier today, police arrested 44 suspects in relation to the incident and filed cases against 468 others.

An enraged mob on November 4 beat the couple to death and then burnt their bodies in the brick kiln where they worked, for allegedly desecrating the Holy Quran.

The incident took place in the town of Kot Radha Kishan, some 60 kilometres from Lahore, and is the latest example of mob violence against minorities accused of blasphemy. The victims were only identified by their first names, Shama and Shehzad, and were a married couple.

Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif had also constituted a three-member committee to fast track the investigation of the killings and ordered police to beef up security at Christian neighborhoods in the province.

do Christians in Pakistan has anything else to do ??
why there are so many cases of Blasphemy these days ??

they are very dangerous for land of peace.

They should have been arrested for blasphemy but shoudnt be killed. Killing others is against teaching of Islam.

first arrested and then killed by Pakistani judiciary .. so much difference !!

there is always two sides of picture ,but its secular nature to see one side .. along with Extremist religious ...

Ok sir jee , where would you like to go ?? Australia or USA ?? shall we apply for Asylum visa ?
its

just paperwork
the Brick Kiln owner might have owed money to the poor couple who normally work for generations as bonded labor
the authorities will wait till the news become old and then it will be sent to cold storage. protecting minorities is least on the concerns of our past and present governments. had they been protected then for all the tens of thousands of murders there would have been a single punishment (no I am not talking about the killer of Suleman Taseer, who lives like a don in the jail and passes death sentences to other people and his own jail guards carry out the killing of alleged blasphemers on his behalf )

Thanks for clearing a stance. However, India is more tolerable society than many other south asian counterparts. Yes Babri Masjid was a blemish in Indian society, however the times have changes since... in a country of 130 million people with 80% hindus, once a while these thugs will create something to put our Nation on shame. However, contrary to other south asain countries, the minorities such as muslims and christians are growing in India. I am no one to blame Pakista, Afg or BD how do they treat their minorities... however in India they are trated with farness in most parts.

Thanks for explaining the context of this incident. Regardless of where this incident happened; it only speaks of the widespread prejudice on the one hand and general apathy on the other, that pervades our societies.
Will it be futile "day-dreaming" on our parts to think that such incidents may even abate; leave alone coming to an end? And we call ourselves the most developed form of life on this planet!
