KSA already condemned Israel 1 month ago when they started carpet bombing Gaza. Google that yourself. So no this is not news. This speech called for unity in the Muslim world and for an end to the bloodbath including in Gaza.

Yet when Erdogan and Turkey (biggest business partner of Israel from the Muslim world) barks while doing equally "as little" or "as much" the masses on PDF are almost worshipping those comments.

He could have used pressurizing tactics over Israel by take some measures like deploying EFs near Israel border and threaten to create No fly zone over Gaza & relocation of IDF heavy weapons from where the cant hit Gaza.

Yes, KSA or any other Muslim country for that matter is a threat to Israel that is fully backed by USA, NATO and the entire Western world. Aside from being a nuclear state. Makes perfect sense.

KSA's biggest airbase or one of the biggest at least is located in Tabuk. Not far from Israel. Same with other armies in the region. Did not stop Israel as they know that they have the backing of the main powers out there.

99% of all Muslim countries are not doing that. What will a few pipes help if not only give the opportunity for Israel to kill more people as they are doing right now? The solution is not a military solution as the Palestinians will never defeat Israel militarily. Otherwise they would have done so a long time ago.

Besids it's almost impossible to smuggle anything of worth (that could change the nature of the conflict) into Gaza. Egypt is the only country that can do such a thing.

KSA prefers giving humanitarian donations and are leading in that which is something that shows generosity and is something that will help the Palestinian masses the most.

King Abdullah ordered huge donations weeks ago. Users here even made threads on PDF for that news.

KSA have donated more to Gaza in the past 1 month than anyone else.

In KSA in almost every mosque there are donations for Gaza. I just returned back so I can confirm this. Ordinary people are donating big sums of money. Rich and poor.

My friend, ordinary people don't really matter in this world. Ordinary people can do all they want but unless the state does something tangible, nothing will come out of it.

KSA has enough clout in the world and enough leverage to bring the world to hear the Muslim stance and stuff like that.

But imagine if from today KSA started to act against Israel politically ? It would be huge blow to Zionism and there would be much more unity against a apartheid state worldwide.

What do you suggest that KSA or ANY other Muslim country does? Will anything other than a total-war against Israel stop them from doing what they have done for DECADES? The answer is a HUGE no. Then if we can agree on that (most people do or at least the actions of Israel confirm this) then how will you counter the sole nuclear armed state in the ME and a state that moreover has the unconditional backing of the world's most powerful country (USA) and the entire Western world?

Remember that this is not a computer game. Be realistic and honest here.

KSA might be a rich and powerful regional country and the cradle of Islam but KSA is a lightweight compared to the real powers of the world and I am afraid to tell you that the Muslim world is not an international power nor a united entity.

I am proud that the Saudi Arabian government is the biggest Muslim donor to Palestine and humanitarian aid is by far the best solution for your ordinary Palestine and sending a few light arms and a few pipes is not going to win the war for the Palestinians but ONLY give Israel a bigger excuse to react harshly like they are doing now and no Muslim country is able to stop Israel from doing what they are doing.

I am also happy that ordinary Saudi Arabian are so supportive of Palestine. Rich or poor. Whatever you can say about the regime (which only represents a tiny, tiny, tiny amount of the population) the views and ACTIONS of the ordinary Saudi Arabians cannot be questioned which is the main thing here.

So yes, we (Muslims and the Muslim world) are unfortunately limited to what you call lip service.

You are right that Israel have backing of NATO, US & West too, but if all muslim countries come sit and decide to take joint action then they have to back down may be even without fighting, as KSA, Turkey, UAE have advance air forces, Pakistan have cruise missiles like subsonic Babar, Ra'ad & supersonic CM-400AKG and also other muslim countries have their pros to offer combined we can become a potent threat to any aggressor as we will also have nuclear deterrent available too.

If we don't unite now, enemies of Islam will destroy us by using their proxies.
