North Korea has tried to block an autopsy of Kim Jong-Un's assassinated half-brother after ordering Malaysia to hand over his body, it emerged today.

Police probing the death this morning arrested a woman posing as a Vietnamese national calling herself Doan Thi Huong.

They swooped after recognising her from CCTV footage from the airport of a woman in a white shirt with LOL written on the front. She is believed to be a North Korean spy.

But police are still hunting a 'few' other foreign suspects over the Cold War-style poison attack on Jong-nam on Monday morning, it has emerged.

Unnamed US government sources have said they believe he was poisoned by North Korean agents.

South Korean spy chief Lee Byung-ho told South Korean MPs that Pyongyang had wanted to kill Kim Jong-nam for several years, but that he was being protected by China.

But some analysts question what motive Kim Jong-un would have to kill his estranged half-brother, given the risk of the operation and possibilities for embarrassment, and the fact that he was not seen as a threat to Mr Kim's leadership.

China closely follows reported death of Kim Jong Nam
Xinhua, February 16, 2017

China is closely following developments concerning the reported death of Kim Jong Nam, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Geng Shuang said Wednesday.

Geng said China was aware of coverage of the issue. "As far as we know, the incident happened in Malaysia. The Malaysian side is conducting an investigation," he told a routine press briefing.

Media reports said Kim Jong Nam, the elder half-brother of the top leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, was found dead in Kuala Lumpur Monday.

The Malaysian police said Wednesday that a female suspect had been arrested at Kuala Lumpur International Airport terminal two, where Kim Jong Nam requested help after feeling unwell Monday. He died on the way to hospital.

The suspect, who was carrying a Vietnamese passport, was identified from the surveillance video footage at the airport, according to the Malaysian police.

It is not sure yet whether the suspect is related to the female suspect, who was arrested on Wednesday at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport's second terminal, where the deceased DPRK man once looked for help for feeling unwell on Monday. He died on the way to hospital.

You do know Kim Jong-nam love to gamble.....It would be a diaster to have someone like him to be in charge of the North Korea's overseas account.

That's one of the reason I do not want to draw the conclusion too early. It seems that S.Korea may behind this assassination, and If Kim Jong nam was really in danger from Fat Kim, then why the hack he went to South East Asia that often and left his body guard. Not to mention, China alone won't let's him leave his eye sight if he is that important to China. Kim Jong-nam was using N.Korea passport which mean more or less his travelling is permitted by Fat Kim and his role of collecting foreign investment for North Korea, that make Fat Kim for now less possible to kill him since N.Korea is currently under economic sanction.
