Kim Jong-nam, half-brother of Kim Jong-un, assassinated in Malaysia

That's one of the reason I do not want to draw the conclusion too early. It seems that S.Korea may behind this assassination, and If Kim Jong nam was really in danger from Fat Kim, then why the hack he went to South East Asia that often and left his body guard. Not to mention, China alone won't let's him leave his eye sight if he is that important to China. Kim Jong-nam was using N.Korea passport which mean more or less his travelling is permitted by Fat Kim and his role of collecting foreign investment for North Korea, that make Fat Kim for now less possible to kill him since N.Korea is currently under economic sanction. S.Korea news is infamously known as unrelaible especially for N.Korea. So now I will wait for more information to release.

Might as well be SK-US joint production.

.
The kill is very closely resemble North Korean spy work, a NK friendly country cover with an pair of agent. That is no doubt North Korean works, the reason is, as always, why?
I think the assassination can be simulated by S.Korea agent to look like the work of N.Korea. Cnleio did provide his reason why S.Korea want to kill him, the role of foreign investment, but we can agree to disagree. However, you do have a point, for now this is more likely the work of N.Korea but I too cant find a reason for Fat Kim to kill him. If Cnleio was right, Kim Jong-nam was somehow able to transfer some foreign money back to N.Korea in exchange for his safety, then it can be the strongest reason why S.Korea want him dead.

Might as well be SK-US joint production.
It only makes sense if Kim Jong-nam was one of the channel to transfer foreign money back to N.Korea. Not to mention, North Korea just tested his missile few days ago, that may make S.Korea have his motive to kill him in order to stop the money to develop N.Korea missile program. Still it just a speculation, I have no evidence at all.

Well, it could be anything and everything. It could even be the work of Walt Disney for his fail attempt to have access to Disneyland and thus losing revenue......

Joke aside, there are nothing to be gain for South Korea, what would South Korea gain even if Kim Jong-nam was the go-to guy for his overseas bank account? It's not kike it would stop the funding from going into fat Kim if they killed Kim Jong-nam, there are more than one man Kim can trust (or rather not trust) to handle this task, or would it be even possible for a known gamble addicts to handle my lifeline money to begin with?

First of all, you need to know this, sending 2 agents to kill a high profile person, where everyone know who he is, on a foreign country, killing him using and imititating someone else work. Do you know how hard to pull this off to begin with?

You will need to have all the document ready, all the network active, have the apporiate agent that can pass as a vietnamese, and most importantly, uses the same poison the North Korean uses, the chemical itself is not hard to find out, but the portion? You need to mix it the same way the North Korean mix it to have the same result, and even if you can get one of these viral of poison, it will take you ages to reverse engineer the portion mix for the ingredients.

Then you need to talk about motive, why would South Korean, or even anyone want to kill him? Let alone spending a lot of time and resources on making this work. For the South Korean, you can't possibly even start a false flag operation and start a war with Fat Kim if you killed his brother. 5 Years ago, If he died then, it would most certainly be fat Kim work....Killing Kim Jong-nam would get nothing from fat Kim, beside a thank you.

Then also the Chinese part. If he was, indeed protected by the Chinese, or in this case, North Korean as you assuming this is South Korean works. How would he be killed this easily? To pull off these kind of opearation, you will need inside information, you need to know when he is going to travel and where, and you prepare before hand. The agent and the poison will not simply appear out of thin air when Kim Jong-nam arrive in Malaysia.

When you put all these together, you would see there are no Motive for the South Korean to do it, no means for the South Korean to do it, and no Opportunties for the South Korean to do it. Can it still be South Korean works tho? Well, never say never, but chances are even smaller than Walt Disney trying to kill Kim Jong-nam, because South Korean actually need Kim Jong-nam if they are planning on any war or literallt doing anything to North Korea. They will need him to be a puppet leader if and when they win the war with North Korea anyhow.

Otherwise it would be going the same road Iraq is heading. And it is not pretty, and the South Korean knows it.

You cannot stop the money just by killing him, if fat Kim can use his brother to get the money, which mean he can use anybody. There are more than one way to get those money, if not, fat Kim will still be able to get it himself.

The overseas bank account angle does not fly. If he is with this important task, he would not have gone almost all of Asia up and down alone. I mean if he is the only person Fat Kim can get the money from, would he be at least protected by North Korean Agent? Knowing that it will be a big target on his back? And yet, he still go everywhere and most importantly, alone, this just does not make sense....

Might as well be SK-US joint production.

No, this is a joint US and Walt Disney operation.

His crime? Been rejected by the Japanese Immigration for travelling with Fake passport and miss out all the fun on a day in Disneyland with his family. And for Disney to have lost the potential gain from having been able to say "Kim Jong-nam was here"

Maybe Japan was involved in this too.

Man would this make a good drama? Title : Died by Disney.

If they are North Korean spy using Vietnamese passport, they would have spoken well enough Vietnamese for them to travel without raising any suspicion.

The North Korean spy are train by sending them in intensive langauge course and live in the cover country using their cover identity for a long time (usually 3-5 years) so they would be able to blend in the cover indentity.

The famous North Korean spy turn author that bombed Korean Air Flight 858 Kim Hyon-hui had disclosed to the South Korean spy agency how North Korean spy works, the detail was not publicized but Kim Hyon-hui covers is a Chinese born Japanese, where she was taught Japanese by a Japanese Teacher and was send to Macau to live for 5 years in order for her to learn perfect Chinese (cantonese) in fact, the only reason why Bahrain caught her is because she claim she was a Chinese Ophrans raise in Japan, but the custom officer for some reason know that she does not speak Mandarin, but rather a Southern Dialect of Cantonese, which does not suit the cover story.

The most favorite foregry North Korean uses is Vietnam, France and Japan.

And if this is in fact an North Korean Agent, this is a bad move publishing her photo, because she would have probably already bite down a cyanide pill by now. Which effectively end the evidence trail then and there.

Why would Chinese send Special Force to protest her? Are you insinuating the assassian is Chinese??

Also, there are virtually no one have any motive on killing Kim Jong-nam, Kim Jong-Un have already is the supreme leader of North Korea for a while (since 2010) there are nothing Kim Jong-nam can do to challenge his position, he is effectively in exile. And even in the case of Kim Jong-un dead, his son or daugter will be in charge, not Kim Jong-nam. That is the reason why he was not touched in that 5 years by anyone, because he has no value.

For people to kill him now, either it was fat Kim can't stand his half brother eating and gambling well with Chinese protection and suddenly gone mad and decided to kill him, or someone is doing this to please fat Kim.
why not China passport? it sounds more logical, isn´t it?
China is more closer in cultural and language to the koreans.

.
I think you are right, so it have to be the order of Fat Kim and the only reason must be the sudden change of heart to eliminate any threat, or prevent any plan b for China to make regime change.

I would have think the timing tell a very good tale.

I think it is someone from Kim regime (not Fat Kim himself) trying to score point and please fat Kim, when you put together about the timing, it intersect between Missile Test, Kim Jong-il Birthday (on the 16th), it seems like someone want to score point in front of Kim Jong-un, also, it's worth notice that the EDIT:: [Supreme People Assembly] is having a election in March.....

It also could be Fat Kim simply see him as a threat all of a sudden and kill him, I guess nobody actually knows.

Plausible by American Vietnamese CIA agents.

It's Walt Disney Hong Kong agent.......God know how many vietnamese-Chinese living in hong kong... lol

why not China passport? it sounds more logical, isn´t it?

Actually, I was thinking about it too. If this is indeed the work of South Korea.

Using either Chinese and Russian passport is more suited for South Korean if this is indeed supposed to be a false flag mission. Because both country supported North Korea and using that countries fake passport mean that is some degree in supporting of the operation.

But then I hardly think if there will be any damage done if the assassin indeed uses Chinese or Russian passport.

Using Vietnamese passport is more suited for North Korean style. The tradition tradecraft for North Korea is to uses the country with good relationship with them as a staging point, Japan, Vietnam and China are all favorite amongst the North Korean spycraft.

Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister confirmed that the deceased was indeed Kim Jongnam.

Also, interesting development: The reason for his death could be much more different than theorized in some bombastic neofascist Western media which can't hide they really hate everybody else.

Plus, one of the suspects was carrying Indonesian passport.

Thriller material.

Malaysia arrests 3rd suspect in Kim's death

Xinhua, February 16, 2017

Malaysian police have arrested a third suspect in its investigation in the death of Kim Jong Nam, the half-brother of Kim Jong Un, the top leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), a senior Malaysian police official said on Thursday.

Abdul Samah Mat, the police chief of Selangor state, told Xinhua that the suspect, a 26-year-old male Malaysian, was arrested in Ampang city of the state of Selangor.

The man is believed to be the boyfriend of the second suspect, a bearer of an Indonesian passport who was arrested on Thursday morning.

The police have been looking into the connections between the suspects and trying to pin down their roles in the death of Kim Jong Nam.

The police have been investigating as a murder case instead of sudden death of Kim and a local court has granted a seven-day remand order for the first two suspects.

The first female suspect, holding a Vietnamese passport, was arrested on Wednesday at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport's second terminal, where the deceased Kim looked for help after feeling unwell on Monday.

Kim died later on Monday enroute to hospital.

His body was taken to a hospital in Kuala Lumpur Wednesday for post mortem to ascertain the cause of his death.

The results of the post mortem are yet to be released.

One from Vietnam, one from Indonesia, the last one is Malaysia Citizen. Interesting. Who are they actually. A political assassination just like what we thought previously, or has another motive? Or the DPRK spy network is actually very good like that

That is why I'm not jumping to conclusion. I find it hilarious western media bashing Russia for manufacturing propaganda when they are the biggest one.

Jong-nam murder: So who is Siti Aisyah, really?

PETALING JAYA: The second woman detained for allegedly murdering Kim Jong-nam, the estranged brother of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, was apparently a divorced woman with a young son. She also had two different identities.

Malaysian authorities have identified her as Siti Aisyah, 25, from Serang, Indonesia, based on the passport she was holding when she was arrested.

According to Indonesian news portal Kumparan, based on identification records held by her village in Angke, Jakarta West, she had two separate entries, complete with different photos.

In the first one, her name is spelt as “Siti Aisyah,” with information saying she was born in Serang, Indonesia, on Feb 11, 1992. In the accompanying picture, her hair is tied in a ponytail.

In the second entry, her name was written as “Siti Aisah” and her date of birth is listed as Nov 1, 1989. In this picture, her hair is worn loose.

Kumparan reported that the ID (identification) numbers as well as her occupation on both entries differed.

As “Siti Aisyah,” she listed her occupation as entrepreneur; as “Siti Aisah,” she listed her occupation as housewife.

Kumparan quoted Angke village head Dwi Ariyono as saying that he did not know why Siti Aisyah had two separate IDs.

Siti Aisyah was also divorced, according to Indonesian news portal Detik.com.

Her mother-in-law Lian Kiong or Akiong, 56, told Indonesian Foreign Ministry officials on Friday that she and her family had no relationship with her since she divorced her husband Gunawan Hasyim.

A sealed handwritten letter dated Feb 1, 2012 was presented to the Foreign Ministry on Friday.

Signed by Siti Aisyah and Gunawan, with Lin Kiong as witness, the letter said that the couple had opted for a divorce as they no longer “possessed the compatibility and harmony of husband and wife.”

Lian Kiong said that following the divorce, Siti Aisyah hardly visited her in-laws in Tambora in West Jakarta, and only came around once a year to meet her seven-year-old son Rio.

“After the divorce, she never came around. The last time she came was on Jan 28.

“She came and stayed for the night. She spent the night with my grandson and left the next day,” Detik.com quoted Lian Kiong as saying.

She added that Rio had previously even refused to meet his mother because he knew she would leave eventually.

Kumparan reported that Siti Aisyah’s involvement in Jong-nam’s murder began when she was approached by a mysterious man at the nightclub that she worked at in Kuala Lumpur.

The man reportedly offered her US$100 (RM445) to carry out the act, which she believed to be a prank.

She is said to have accepted the deal because “she needed the money,” despite not knowing who Jong-nam or her other accomplices were.

She previously worked as a domestic helper in Jakarta before moving to Malaysia in 2013 with her then-husband.

Siti Aisyah was arrested by Malaysian police at 2am on Thursday after she was identified based on CCTV footage from KL International Airport 2 (KLIA 2).

Jong-nam, 45, was killed by two women who splashed his face with a chemical at the KLIA2 departure hall at about 9am on Monday. He was about to leave for Macau.

The women later got into a taxi and fled.

Mystery man behind recruitment of female suspects in Jong-nam's murder

combi-kim-death-female-suspects-1702.ashx

PETALING JAYA: The two women suspected to have murdered North Korean Kim Jong-nam were allegedly "recruited" by a mysterious man to carry out the deadly task as early as three months ago.

According to a report by China Press, both Siti Aishah, 25, and Doan Thi Huong, 29, were not North Korean "special agents, but were possibly duped by a spy ring to commit the assassination.

Indonesian national Siti Aishah was arrested at 2am on Thursday, while Doan, who holds a Vietnamese passport, was arrested a day earlier.

China Press reported that the mystery man, believed to be a spy, got to know Doan about three months ago in Malaysia, who eventually became his escort.

The mystery man even took her on several overseas trips, including on one to Vietnam, where they visited her hometown and another trip to South Korea.

China Press reported the mystery man then introduced Doan to the four men still wanted by the police in connection with the killing.

It reported that the mystery man got to know Siti Aishah about a month ago, but only introduced the two women to each other recently when he told them about a "prank " he wanted them to pull off.

The two women have claimed that they had no idea that it would lead to trouble as they thought it was only supposed to be a filming of the prank being carried out.

They apparently rehearsed the "spoof" many times and were able to carry out the process proficiently.

The report also said that Siti Aishah was tasked with using a handkerchief to cover Jong-nam's face while Doan administered an injection.

China Press reported that Siti Aishah claimed she was paid US$100 (RM445) to pull off the "prank".

Jong-nam, 45, was killed by two women who splashed his face with a chemical at the KLIA2 departure hall at about 9am on Monday as he was about to leave for Macau.

N. Korea accuses Malaysia of working with its enemies
unnamed.ashx

KUALA LUMPUR: North Korea has accused the Malaysian Government of being in cahoots with Pyongyang's enemies over the assassination of Kim Jong-nam, the half-brother of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.

Ambassador Kang Chol (pix) told reporters that North Korea would reject the outcome of the postmortem conducted “on its citizen without permission.”

“This is a violation of the human rights of … our citizen,” he said outside the Hospital Kuala Lumpur mortuary on Friday night.

Jong-nam was killed at KL International Airport 2 (KLIA2) on Monday.

In a statement distributed to the media, Kang also accused Malaysia of refusing to hand over Jong-nam’s body despite earlier agreeing to release it after the proper paperwork had been submitted.

“We have submitted it but the Malaysian side did not answer.

“This strongly suggests that the Malaysian side is trying to conceal something and deceive us and that they are colluding with the hostile forces who are desperate to harm us,” he alleged.

Kang urged the Malaysian Government not to become entangled in a political plot and to release the body and the results of the postmortem immediately, failing which Pyongyang would take the matter to the International Court of Justice.

Here is ambassador Kang’s statement in full:

Malaysian side initially informed our embassy that a DPRK citizen was dead due to a heart attack while he was on the evacuation to the Putrajaya Hospital and requested us to confirm that he is a DPRK citizen. We confirmed it.

Then they claimed a postmortem on him that we rejected because he is a diplomatic passport holder and our citizen who is under the consular protection of the DPRK.

But, the Malaysian side forced the postmortem without our permission and witnessing, we will categorically reject the result of the postmortem conducted unilaterally excluding our attendance.

This is the culmination of the violation of the human rights of and infringing upon our citizen disregarding the elementary international laws and the consular laws.

After concluding the postmortem the Malaysian police side said that they would release the body which they didn't need any more if we submit a document through Wisma Putra (MFA) and Wisma Putra too requested us to do it and we did it.

But Malaysian side did not answer after one day passed since then.

Today I met with the high officer of the Malaysian Police and strongly demanded him to release the body without further delay but he rejected our demand raising the issue which has nothing to do with clarification of the cause of death.

This strongly suggests that the Malaysian side is trying to conceal something which needs more time and deceive us and that they are colluding with the hostile forces towards us who are desperate to harm us of malice.

We doubt whether the Malaysian side was asked to do like this by someone else.

The South Korean puppet authorities are desperate to escape from their miserable state of the largest ever political scandal.

They are distorting the public opinion resorting to the tricky plots to defame the image of the DPRK with this incident.

The public opinion of the South Korean people, too, are suspicious that the conservative forces might mop up this incident to save the Park Geun Hye regime and to find out an excuse to force the "THAAD" deployment which has been strongly opposed within and without.

That's why we strongly urge and demand the Malaysian side not to be entangled in a political plot of the hostile forces and to release the body and the result of the postmortem to us without further delay.

We don't see this incident simple, further we will not tolerate at all the attitude of the Malaysian side in collusion with the hostile forces towards our Republic.

We will respond strongly to the moves of the hostile forces towards us with their intent to besmirch the image of our Republic by politicising this incident and sue file this to the International Court.

Worth considering.
