I was in Pakistan going from Lahore to Sialkot during the protests TLP staged and got stuck on the motorway. At that time I was so upset that the state was so powerless they couldn’t stop this kind of stuff. It took me 12 hour to get to Sialkot through back roads.

Since then, I have seen repeated insults to our Holy Prophet, especially the current French BS. And I began to agree with Allama Rizvi’s points (some of them). And he certainly has a command of our religious and cultural heritage that no one else in Pakistani politics has. He connected with the common man and brought an eloquent voice to our anger and complaints. A true lover of Al Habib.
