Of the total population of 3,34,06,061 in Kerala, the number of Hindus is 1,82,82,492, while the Muslim population is pegged at 88,73,472 and Christians 61,41,269. Hindus outnumber all the other communities taken together in the state by 31,66,541. As many as 88,155 persons have been categorised as “religion not stated’.

Around 27% but the production rate is very high ,Students enrolled in Muslim majority malapuram district on year 2014 is more than palakkad and Thriruvanthapuram combined ,So 30% is not an exaggeration ...

Many christian converts use Hindu as their religion to get reservation benefits if we remove such crypto christians Hindu population will be much low than the official figure ,may be around 50%
